A Hungry Lioness?!?!! - May 3rd, 2012, 10:22 AM

Lioness is hungry?!!!??

What do you make of this? Was she trying to eat the baby? Was this madness? Funny? Was she trying to save that baby by picking it up from the back of it's neck and carrying it away from stupid people?

Well....I'm no particular authority on lions but if their behavior bears any resemblance to the common house-cat I would say at that particular point she was more interested in investigation and amusement.

To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic.

Yea, I was reading the youtube comments and plenty of people seem to be freaking out over it. You know what is really weird though? They dressed the baby up like a zebra.....

Plenty of people are idiots who enjoy drama so much they generate their own.

I'd be very surprised if the lion was fooled by the costume.

I'd say she views him as a toy. The zoo feeds her quite nicely, I am sure. I read a few of the comments. Silly people. It's a baby and there is a strong pane of glass between the two of them. Why should the parents have freaked out and made the child afraid? It's not likely he's going to be running into wild lions on a daily basis.

I believe that the Universe is one being, all its parts are different expressions of the same energy,
and they are all in communication with each other, therefore parts of one organic whole.
This whole is in all its parts so beautiful, and is felt by me to be so intensely in earnest, that I am compelled to love it and to think of it as divine

That is going to be a brave kid when he grows up. He turns around and just looks at it. He didn't even cry, I think I heard him laugh a little too.....
