What Do Cows Think About Freedom?

This is the show from Wednesday, April 2nd 2012.

BEST QUOTE OF THE SHOW:
Quote:
[The GOP says), “the Independents decide elections.” Have you ever heard that? The Independents decide elections. So to cater to the Independents, (because they have to win the election) therefore they have to downplay the Christian worldview, Christian morality, the child’s right to life, the defense of marriage between a man and a woman. They have to downplay all of that because they say Independents decide elections. So if that’s true, if that’s really true then Christians have to have the courage to be Independents. If Independents decide elections then we as pro-lifers need to be Independents so that the Republicans cannot take us for granted but that they have to cater to us.
SUMMARY:

* Cow Visits McDonalds: In a small community in Colorado a cow visits his relatives at McDonalds. Years ago, Bob asked his (then) young son, Josiah, what cow would think if they let them out of a fenced enclosure.

* Life Expectancy in the US: A new study shows that US women's life expectancy is increasing slower than men's. Why do some people think that's a bad thing? The Huffington Post and one scientist don't even understand the study.

* Are Mormons Christians?: Joel Osteen says that Mormons, and thus Mitt Romney, are Christians because they believe that Jesus was the son of God. Is that an accurate litmus test to determine whether or not someone is a Christian?

* A Vote for Romney is a Vote for Obama: Romney instituted health care in Massachusetts very similar to Obama Care. Romney Care funded abortions and he even put Planned Parenthood on the so called "independence board." Also, Romney single handily instituted gay marriage in Massachusetts.

Today's Resource: Meet the Apostle John. He was the youngest of the Twelve. And at the time of this writing, he's now one of the last remaining. If you were an eyewitness to Christ's earthly ministry, what would concern you decades after the resurrection? From the battles that John fought we can learn lessons that will help us as we ourselves fight for the truth and battle false teaching within the church. By looking at "the things that differ," we can know what details in John's three epistles applied to the circumcision believers of his day and which of his teachings apply directly to us. Available on this 4-DVD Video Set and also in audio on MP3-CD or MP3 Download.
