“Conservatives” believe that Christ's message is similar to "supply side Jesus." * I think Christ taught the opposite. That makes followers of supply side Jesus followers of the anti-Christ. They do not respect Jesus. They respect a distorted self-serving image of him.
I came to this conclusion after reading all the venom spewed at the poor from “conservatives”. http://www.zompist.com/meetthepoor.html

Shouldn't you have posted this in the politics forum?
Perhaps, this will help those that are Biblically uninformed?
"Despite being of non-Biblical origin, the phrase topped a poll of the most widely known Bible verses." Seventy-five percent of American teenagers said they believed that it was the central message of the Bible."

15 “You shall not steal. 17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”
Proverbs 6
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, 7 Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, 8 Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest. 9 How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? 10 A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep— 11 So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, And your need like an armed man.
God's economic model. No stealing, no coveting. Stealing includes businesses that sell product and false pretenses. It is ok for the government to intervene, and order restitution.

Idle curiosity here: how, exactly, does one tell when somebody is engaged in the act of coveting?

House=property; wife=property; male servant (slave)= property; female servant (slave)=property; ox=property; donkey=property; nor anything that is your neighbor's=property.

And over here in reality, religious conservatives have historically proven to be the most generous in donating their time and funds to charity for the benefit of the poor. Secular conservatives though are a different story altogether...

Well, it depends on what you mean by "Help". If you mean further propagating falsehoods about what the Bible actually says ... job well done. If not, perhaps you could offer something that the Bible actually does say that is more on point concerning your chosen subject ... whatever that is ...

Evidently you prefer your Christianity seasoned with heavy doses of political rhetoric ... that makes one of us. I see the two as being unrelated and likely serving cross purposes.
Please consider what Jesus meant whilst referencing the coin in the fish' mouth.

????
Your post 12 makes no sense at all. First you quote me where I point out where many have a misunderstanding of the Bible, that they believe a passage is in the Bible when in fact it is not. And then you accuse me of “propagating falsehoods about what the Bible actually says.”
What falsehoods am I propagating about the Bible? Are you claiming that it does not say to give to the poor? Are you saying that the poor are lazy? Actually most work harder then the rich.*What on earth are you talking about?
* Actually, admittedly that was off topic as this is about where I was propagating! LOL
