Worldy Christians - May 13th, 2012, 11:03 AM

Jesus says His followers are not of this world. And He also says His followers are salt and light of the world. According to this statement, mainstream churches are not Jesus' followers. I would like to list up worldly practice of mainstream churches.

1)They approve of the military practice for His followers.

This is plain worldly because the approve killing their enemy like the rest of the world when Jesus commands us to "love your enemy".
This world kill each other when other nation does not agree with their politics.

2)They don't strive to obey Jesus' teachings and commandments because they believe you don't have to obey Jesus to be saved.

This is also against Jesus because He clearly commands us to "obey His commandments". When we don't strive to obey His commandments, we surely would behave like this world with our witnessing. There is no way we can be salt and light of the world if we don't strive to obey His teachings and commandments.

3)They persecute non-trinitarians as cult and non-believers claiming they are the true believers.

This is also against Jesus' word because Jesus never said you have to believe Jesus is God to be saved. Non-trinitarians believe Jesus is Son of God and Savior of the world. Jesus says expects His followers to be godly like He is. He does not approve of hypocrisy and hypocrites will not inherit God's kingdom. He says we know them by their fruit, not by their doctrines. He does not approve of lip servers who says "Jesus is God" yet don't strive to be godly as He commands us to do.

These three are the major anti-Christ and worldly practice of mainstream churches.

I would like to add scriptural references:

Reference:
Matthew 5:13
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

John 17:15-16
King James Version (KJV)
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Matthew 12:33
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

1. John 14:15
◦New King James Version
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.

2. John 14:21
◦New King James Version
He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

3. John 15:10
◦New King James Version
If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

4. Acts 15:24
◦New King James Version
Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law” —to whom we gave no such commandment—)

5. 1 Corinthians 7:19
◦New King James Version
Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters.

6. 1 Timothy 6:14
◦New King James Version
that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing,

7. 1 John 2:3
◦New King James Version
The Test of Knowing Him ] Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.

8. 1 John 2:4
◦New King James Version
He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

9. 1 John 3:22
◦New King James Version
And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

10. 1 John 3:24
◦New King James Version
The Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of Error ] Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

11. 1 John 5:2
◦New King James Version
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.

12. 1 John 5:3
◦New King James Version
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

13. Revelation 12:17
◦New King James Version
And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

14. Revelation 14:12
◦New King James Version
Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

Pretty funny coming from the condemned.

Jesus saves completely. A9D-EL

Titus 1:10-11

For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped

1 John 2:16 For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Deuteronomy 10:12 (KJV) And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Deuteronomy 10:13 (KJV) To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

There's nothing "funny" about the lost. If you find hilarity in that, then you should examine yourself to see if you're truly saved...

when Jesus said to give unto Caesar the things that are Caesars
that means we not only have an obligation to pay taxes
but
to also try and affect the direction our government is taking
