So, not only has the Holy Spirit ceased his works with Paul, the devil also became a hyper-dispensationalist and quit his job?!
Your anti-supernatural, anti-Pentecostal, etc. Paul (Eph. 6) and Jesus (Gospels) did not share your view.
A denial of spiritual reality, spiritual warfare, etc. is deception, not truth.
Wait, you are probably not denying modern demon possession, just that if someone says they are, they are not? This is like someone saying they are having a seizure while they are talking or someone saying they committed the unpardonable sin?
Sorry if I jumped to conclusions.

Is this post ascension ?
And God was doing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons that had touched his skin were carried away to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists undertook to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims.” Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this. But the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?” And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them, mastered all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. And this became known to all the residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks. And fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled. Also many of those who were now believers came, confessing and divulging their practices. And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted the value of them and found it came to fifty thousand pieces of silver. So the word of the Lord continued to increase and prevail mightily.
[An excerpt Living the Crucified Life by Charles Stanley] "What does it mean to be crucified with Christ? Before receiving Christ as Savior, each of us was ruled by a sin nature, which we inherited from Adam. However, when Christ came into our lives, sin's authority over us was broken. Although we still have the same body and personality, Jesus now lives within us through the Holy Spirit. We cannot do in our own strength, He does in us when we yield ourselves to Him (Rom. 8:3-4). Victory over sin is gained, not by trying harder but by letting Christ's' resurrection power flow through us."
Sin entered into the world by Adam (Ge 3:6,7; Ro 5:12). All men are conceived and born in sin (Ge 5:3; Job 15:14; 25:4; Ps 51:5). All men are shaped in sin (Ps 51:5). Scripture concludes all under sin (Ga 3:22). No man is without sin (1 Ki 8:46; Ec 7:20). Christ alone was without sin (2 Co 5:21; Heb 4:15; 7:26; 1 Jn 3:5).
You teach modalism (2 Pe 2:1, Jn 1:1). God's character does not change (Mal 3:6, Heb 4:14).
[The Cross: Grace Displayed In Touch Magazine Romans 3:21-27] "At Calvary, the Lord displayed His grace for the entire world to see. The cross represents the intersection of His holiness and His love. From there, He poured out mercy on an undeserving population: all of humanity, including you and me.
Our holy God is absolutely without fault. He's so "perfectly perfect" that no earthy man or woman can look upon Him and live (Ex. 33:20). The problem had to do with our sinful nature--we all have an inborn desire to rebel against His authority (Rom. 3:10). Anyone who thinks otherwise is deceiving himself (1 John 1:8). It's important to understand that God hates sin. He cannot abide evil in His presence, so He pronounced a death sentence on sinners (Rom. 6:23).
But Scripture also tells us that God is love (1 John 4:8), and He created people with the intention of caring for them. What's more, the Lord desires that all people spend eternity with Him. Yet there remains the problem of our sin and death penalty that we owe.
The Lord cannot violate His own nature. Through God loves mankind, His holiness would be compromised if He permitted the filth of sin into His presence. So the Father made a way to cleanse dirty hearts and transform wayward natures: he put the sin of all mankind on Jesus Christ's shoulders...
...The Father sent His holy Son to be a perfect sacrifice on our behalf. Jesus Christ took our sin upon Himself and died on the cross in our place. When we trust Him as our Savior and receive His forgiveness, we are made new--holy, perfect, and welcome in our Fathers' presence."
I wanted to ask Christians this question. How would you confront a demon-possessed person?
If someone were possessed by the devil, you should call a priest to peform an exorcism. In the meantime? The names of Jesus and the Virgin Mary are extremely powerful. The devils fear them.
You should also invoke St. Michael the Archangel:
"St. Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safegaurd against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, o prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into Hell Satan and all of the evil spirits who prowl the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen."

You want me to take the higher ground and not come down to SD level?
You attempt to undermine the gospel of Jesus Christ (Ga 5:9). You judge him wrongly (Jn 1:1). He will return to judge you (Re 1:7). You will give an account (Mt 12:36).

[Communion with our Lord In Touch Magazine 1 John 1:1-3] "Genesis 1:27 teaches that God created us--male and female--in His image. As a result of Adams' rebellion, however, sin entered the hearts of his descendants and separated all of us from our Creator. With that act of disobedience, human nature became self-centered instead of focused on the Lord. The desire to spend time with God was replaced by a bent away from Him.
Knowing our dilemma--that we are enslaved by our "flesh" and unable to pay the penalty we owe--the heavenly Father sent His Son Jesus to stand in as our substitute. Because He is perfectly "holy, innocent, and undefiled" (Heb 7:26), Christ alone qualified to carry our sins to the cross and pay our outstanding debt. When we receive Jesus' finished work on our behalf, we are acknowledging His Lordship over our lives. Then we are adopted into Gods' family and have fellowship with Him (1 Cor. 1:9).
Take a moment to reflect on Christ's "rescue mission." Jesus, the One without sin, chose to take on mankind's sins--past, present, and future--to save us from eternal separation from the Father. He willingly gave His life so we might be reconciled to God and live with Him forever. As we ponder this amazing demonstration of grace and love, our response should be a strong desire to fellowship with Him...
...Child of God, you were designed to have sweet communion with you heavenly Father. Jesus died so that you and I might become part of His family. How strong is your need for fellowship with Him? Does it override the clamor of the day's events or get lost in the demands of daily living?"
SD: I am fully trinitarian and refute modalism daily on my FB Open Theism group. What is your problem? Drugs?
Look at all relevant verses without a wrong paradigm.Try a good commentary that will interpret these verses consistent with all relevant verses vs twisting out of context with a poor interpretation.
etc.
How old are you? What is your shoe size? Whhat is your problem-do you have a bee in your belfray, or a bat in your bonnet?
I wanted to ask Christians this question. How would you confront a demon-possessed person?
Firstly, test if the person is really demon-possessed or just mentally ill.
I had experienced casting out demons when I was a young Christian. To test a demon-possessed person, my first question to the person was: "Do you know me?". I got scared when the person answered *no* by shaking her head. That reminded me of those people who got attacked by the possessed person in the New Testament. But when I quickly followed up with another question: "But who do you see in me?"
That second question changed the person's countenance. She answered "Jesus!".
I got the same answers on the same questions I've thrown on my other two encounters with demon-possessed persons. I was so young and naive it took a few minutes before a demon left a person's body.
There's one thing I can assure my brothers and sisters in Christ.... the demons are very scared of Him who is in us.
Slogan/motto:
Mat 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
