There is a price to pay for being a Christian. Haven't you been taught that part of it?

Nick is right, however, we are still here on the earth in these unredeemed Adamic bodies, Romans 8:23, that are prone to sin.

Paul struggled with his lower nature, Romans 7:18.

We are called to live in the Gospel like Nick is talking about. In the Gospel we are perfect and complete "In Christ." and Christ is in heaven, Hebrews 10:14.

Nick doesn't yet understand these things. He thinks "all that" applies to the Jews and not to him. That he only has to listen to Paul, and that Paul said something completely different from what Jesus said. It's called MAD. There are a surprising number of fairly extreme dispensationalists on TOL.

"If a sheerly linguistic version of the gospel could be concocted, it would merely so be no longer the gospel. In the Lutheran Reformation’s understanding, which we believe in this matter to be correct, the sacraments make the inalienable externality of the gospel message and therefore are necessary to the authenticity of that message." (Christian Dogmatics [1984], II:302-303 as cited in Pontifications)

I think it is tragic that a Christian who says he understands Grace can't see God giving it, from Genesis to Revelations.

The definition of the flesh and the spirit not doing the same thing is called hypocrisy!

So then you keep Matthew 23? Wow. Somehow, I don't believe you.

Yes, and it was paid on Mount Moriah.

Why do you say that when I already told you I see God's grace from cover to cover in the bible? God's grace is no special historical time frame for its appearance. Re-read the accounts in the OT to see where God loved individuals. What did that love bring to them. I think there is a name for it, don't you? Grace, maybe?

Knowing the gospel of Jesus Christ is a prerequisite to moving on in Him.__otherwise one could be following someone else' gospel that will lead them away from God and to their own destruction.__and perhaps even someone else', if they are teacher.

Nope. Sorry son, you need to go back to square one.

Don't keep me in suspense. What am I wrong about?

Don't you see the grace of God in the bible from cover to cover?
