I am anti-abortion but I am also opposed to legislation making it illegal. I consider it an issue between women and God which men should not legislate. I will counsel any woman to give birth and not have an abortion but I will also advise the men in Congress to stay out of the relationship between a woman and God. I trust God, not men.
You know "dead heading" some plants stimulates new growth?
"A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing. A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away...."
Yes but the flower that is picked dies in the vase.
I once kept a leaf alive for a month just by immersing the stem in water. Then I put some rooting compound on the end and planted it. It ended up growing around the pot like a vine. But it lived.

Why not? Would it be okay with you for women to legislate anti-abortion laws?

Such laws would be concerned about the relationship between a woman and her offspring. It's not just an issue for the religious.

Rev. Lovejoy: "That's Catholic, Marge - you might as well ask me to do a voodoo dance."

Mostly annoyed that they were there and kept coming back. Killing invertebrates really doesn't bother me.
But seriously, are you vegan? Does having to eat animals bother you? If not I don't see why killing a bug would be a big deal. Is it because you killed the bug yourself and someone else killed the farm animals?
