I had two interesting spiders take up residence recently in one of my bathrooms. I wanted to put them outside but then noticed they seemed to be a pair. So I watched them for several days. Sure enough they would approach each other cautiously and then later would be apart. I think they mated because then the female ate the male and now there is only one. I'll relocate her outside tomorrow.
Sorry, I didn't take any pictures. The spiders were very small and built a web in the corner between the wall and the bathtub very close to the floor. The toilet sits facing the tub and when I sit on it my knees are maybe 12-15 inches from the side of the tub. I noticed these two one day as I used the toilet. The roll of toilet paper is mounted on the wall just above where they had their web which is a problem because if the shower curtain is not closed completely during a shower the toilet paper can get wet.
But anyway, I became intrigued by them. I like to observe living things. Sorry you don't believe it. I'll move her outside because I do not want her having lots of babies in the bathroom. But the next time I see this scenario unfolding I will take pictures for you. This was not the first time I had seen it with this particular species.
"Oh! what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive."
Gm maybe I should send you the spider. Pm me your mailing address. But you must promise to turn it loose in your bathroom. That way when it has its babies you can observe their behavior.

That sounds like some, "macabre" scenario from some old horror film!! No thanks, GM will pass on that offer...
