As I was reading the Bible this morning I was reflecting on how some day we will actually meet the 12 Apostles.
I was reading Ephesians and Philippians and was struck by Paul being "in chains for Christ". In the book of Philippians Paul is talking about Epaphroditus who brought him a gift. While he was there Epaphroditus became sick. I just think it would be cool some day to listen to Paul tell more about the details of that visit. In the book of Philippians the word "joy" or "rejoice" is mentioned some fourteen times. Paul was focused on the future and pressing on towards the goal.
Philippians 3:12-14
12 Not that I have already attained, 3or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have 4apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Now, now...all in due time. I think the Apostles would greatly interest me in person.
I'm looking forward to talking with them and lots of other people, too.
It's gonna' be an amazing time.
Don't ya' reckon Adam and Eve are gonna' have a crowd around them?

I had never really thought about meeting Adam and Eve.
Technically upon further study, Paul was considered a prophet and not so much an Apostle. Some people refer to him as "Rabbi" or "teacher.
I think Joshua would be interesting because I really liked his strength and focus in leadership.
There isn't much in the Bible about Melchizedek so he would be interesting.

Did he and his sons have any work related injuries whilst building the ark. Oh...and I'd be very interested in a description of the various tools they used in its' construction.

God gave them the mastery of the crafting of wood, as carpenters. They were made Wise men. - You've read of them I hope! They crafted all the tools they needed to craft, or BUILD the ARK!! God protected them, you should know!!

I have been reading the Bible most of my life. When I'm not reading it I'm probably thinking about it. In many ways it is harder to know and understand the deeper aspects of the Bible authors and characters/people's personalities then it is God's.

Like others, you turn the "Light Burden" into the exact same foolishness you all desire!! ---- It's all so simple!!!! -- It's condemed if you missunderstand it IN THE LEAST!! - You've wasted your whole life "STUDYING" looking for something, and you found your own nonsense in you own mind, and not in the mind of Christ, INSTEED OF READING. -- THE LOST ARE TO "STUDY" TO FIND OUT WHAT TO DO TO BE SAVED, THEN READ, READ, READ!!! - But NO!! - Cry, cry, and cry about everyone who don't believe YOUR "WAY", instead of God's "WAY"!!!!!!

NOOO!!! -- You SAID that it's harder to KNOW & UNDERSTAND the (( DEEPER )) (( DEEPER )) ASPECTS of God!! - There is no such thing as ( DEEPER ) aspects, or ( HIGHER ) aspects of God! -- There is just "TRUTH". ( All the rest are Parables of the Truth, such as men, gods, kings. - Truth is ~God~, and has the Supremacy over "ALL", --that's ~GOD~!! - One either understands "IT", or he does not understand "IT". - There are some things that are more difficult to undestand than others, but that's not DEEP or HIGH, "IT'S just "NOT" understood!! - Truth is not High or Low. Truth is ( supreme ), Truth REIGNS over all, ( "TRUTH DOES" ). Christ is Truth, THEREFORE TRUTH REIGNS AS KING; - NOT A MAN, OR THE PARABLE OF "A ~GOD~ OR ~KING~". Truth is Life, that is, it can never be ended, or destroyed, or killed, ((( MAN KILLED TRUTH )))!!!!
