Salvation Is Only For Sinners -
June 13th, 2012, 03:29 PM
Jesus said, "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance," Matthew 9:13.
IF YOU ARE NOT A SINNER YOU DON'T QUALIFY FOR SALVATION.
Jesus only saves needy sinners. If you are not a needy sinner you will not be saved. Everyone in the Bible that was saved, were saved because they saw themselves as sinners. A good example of this is the publican sinner, Luke 18:13.
HOW DOES JESUS SAVE SINNERS?
Did Jesus say that he came into the world to show sinners the way to salvation? No, he didn't say that. There is no scripture in the Bible that says Jesus came into the world to show sinners the way to salvation. What he did say was..."I AM THE WAY," John 14:6
Beware of those false religions that claim to be the way to salvation. Follow them and you will find yourself on the broad road that leads to hell, Matthew 7:13, 14.
Jesus does not save by making one righteous. All are sinners, all have come short of what God requires. There is none righteous, no not one, Romans 3:11, 12, 23. All are sinners and all continue to be sinners even after they are saved. God only justifies the ungodly (sinners) Romans 4:5. If you are working to be good enough to be saved, YOU ARE LOST and you are under the judgment of God, Romans 4:15.
Almost all of the patriarchs and prophets in the Old Testament confessed that they were sinners. The apostle Paul confessed that he was "The Chief of Sinners" 1 Timothy 1:15. Paul was the worlds greatest Christian. If Paul confessed that he was a sinner, where does that leave me and you? The apostle John said..."If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us," 1 John 1:8.
One of the marks of a Christian is that they confess their sinner hood. The reason that Christians see themselves as sinners is because they are indwelt with the Holy Spirit. The work of the Holy Spirit is to convict of sin. He convicts of sin because he has written God's law on the hearts and minds of God's people, Hebrews 8:10.
The Holy Spirit does not make one holy. What the Holy Spirit will do is make you see what a real sinner that you are. Paul said, "For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sinned revived, and I died." Romans 7:9. God's law is spiritual, it searches the desires and the intents of the heart, Hebrews 4:12. The Holy Spirit is a keeper, it keeps us in the fold. It keeps us looking forward to our final sanctification when this corruptable shall put on incorruption and this mortal shall put on immortality, 1 Corinthians 15:53.

Salvation is only for elect sinners...
Peace, Ted
Wheat are NOT reborn tares !!!
Matt 13:36-43 good seed are sown by the Son of man tares are of the wicked one 39 sown by the devil and, as per
Matthew 15:13 …Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up!
The reason Jesus said that is because the righteous already have salvation. You are very confused. It is the sinners that need to become righteous as the Lord is righteous. Be perfect as God is perfect.
"Sinners won't be allowed in the assembly of the just."
"The wicked will not stand in judgement nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous."
"The righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their heavenly Father."
The kingdom of God is at hand.
"It is impossible for man to be saved but everything is possible for god."
I am a god. I am son of man, son of God. Jesus and I are One.
Seek the kingdom of God and walk in His ways and never quit, then you will find the narrow path of the righteous and enter by the footsteps of the son of man.

Isaiah said, "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of US ALL," Isaiah 53:6.
Paul said, "As it is written there is none righteous, no, not one," Romans 3:10. He was quoting Psalm 14:3.
You will never be saved if you do not come to Christ as a needy sinner.

Jesus claims to be the savior of the world, John 12:47.
He has provided salvation for all that want it, Romans 10:13.
You say: All have sinned,
The Bible says: Romans 8:29 - For whom HE did foreknow, HE also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of HIS Son.
Matthew 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
and oh, just one more:
Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
SO, if all sinned and some are elect, then some of the sinners must be elect therefore it is righteous to say "elect sinners" whether you like the phrase or not.

It is sinners who have not come to be anointed.
I am passed that. The spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me. The Lord and I are One as he said His followers would be but you fail to understand for not following in His footsteps and mine.
If you continue in my teaching you are truly my disciple then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.
I have been raised from the dead. I am the resurrection and the life.
The Lord says this;
"Rend your hearts, not your garments, and return to the Lord, your God. For gracious and merciful is he, slow to anger, rich in kindness, and relenting in punishment.
Perhaps he will again relent and leave behind him a blessing, Offerings and libations for the Lord, your God."
"Let your heart hold fast to my words keep my commands so you will live."

There are many problems with the Calvinist doctrine.
For one it is anti-Gospel. The other is that it attacks the Lordship of Christ.
Ephesians 1:4, God chose all of humanity in Jesus Christ. He is the new Adam and humanities representative. Jesus Christ has redeemed all of humanity. He sits in heaven at the right hand of God victorious over sin, death and the devil, "Jesus is Lord" He is the savior of the whole world, Colossians 2:15.
The Bible makes it very clear that salvation is by grace (God's goodness) through faith, Ephesians 2:8. Because sin, death, and the devil have been defeated, now, ALL, ANYONE, EVERYONE can call on the Lord and be saved, Romans 10:13.
The Calvinist religion makes God a tyrant. Instead of redeeming lost humanity he sends people to hell for no reason other than they were born after Adam.
There are about 75 scriptures that you will have to reject if you are a Calvinist. There is no scripture that says anyone has been predestinated to heaven or to hell.
Salvation is for Elect Regenerated sinners who by His[The Holy Spirit's] Work in them have been made sensible to their being made a sinner !
Lk 18:13-14
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
The Pharisee was also a sinner, but did not know it, was not sensible to it !
Rom 2:28-29
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

The term "elect regenerated sinners" is not in the Bible. But don't let that stop you.
In spite of the fact that the Calvinist religion is false, you continue to hang on to it.
