Interesting ruling on the Arizona case though... and I agree with their ruling.

I see no problem with checking the immigration status of someone that has already been arrested. Spot checking random people on the street if they look suspicious on the other hand is racially problematic and needed to go.

It's going to be more Kabuki theater... they will strike it down and the Obama administration will do everything it can to make the court the villain in this instead of going back to the drawing board and trying to do it the right way.

I saw a program where this American Farmer lost 2 fingers in a farm accident.

But he could only afford to have one put bck on .

If that Farmer were in Canada , he would have both Fingers put on for Free.

Same question regarding the individual mandate alone being struck down.

One article I read this morning suggested that the answer is yes.

You would probably say the same thing if the Supreme Court fails to strike down any of Obamacare.

The individual mandate survives as a tax.

So the mandate is constitutional. Chief Justice Roberts joins the left of the Court.

The Medicaid provision is limited but not invalidated.

The bottom line: the entire ACA is upheld, with the exception that the federal government's power to terminate states' Medicaid funds is narrowly read.

No, I don't think we will after this..

I expect people will be swayed by the Court's decision and opposition will drop and this will be reflected in the polls, thus boosting the administration - and Obama's reelection chances.
