Rosaries are very pretty.

So, are you saying if I buy myself a rosary and wear it, that means I am a true Christian?

Perhaps this will help to clear up your confusion. God bless.

Yes!

"St. Dominic prayed to Our Lady that she would force the devils, who possessed a man, to reveal the truth about devotion to her. The devils were forced by Our Lady to reveal: 'Now that we are forced to speak we must also tell you this: Nobody who perseveres in saying the Rosary will be damned, because she obtains for her servants the grace of true contrition for their sins and by means of this they obtain God’s forgiveness and mercy.'"

Link.

Our Lady made 15 promises concerning Her Rosary, and Our Lady doesn't go back on Her promises.

The third promise, and I quote, is: "The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin and defeat heresies."

The fifth promise, and I quote, is: "The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary shall not perish."

Rusha, if only you knew how much I deserved that you yourself were a Catholic so that you yourself could 1. pray the Rosary and 2. offer a decade for me each day.

Again, consider the 8th promise: "Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the Light of God and the plenitude of His Graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the Merits of the Saints in Paradise."

probably not to YOUR satisfaction

but God knows... how the rosary "saved me", doesn't he?

yes, God knows everything... I am glad someone does..

anyhow...

focusing on the life of Christ is a very holy endeavor...

does that answer the Q!????

Cruciform, this is a massive understatement.

"If you say the Rosary faithfully until death, I do assure you that in spite of the gravity of your sins you shall receive a never fading crown of glory. For even if you are now on the brink of damnation, even if you have one foot in Hell...even if you have sold your soul to the devil, sooner or later you will be converted. Heaven will amend your life and save your soul if you say the Rosary devoutly every day of your life." - St. Louis Marie de Montfort
