This morning, when I was outside, I was near the gate separating my grandparents' back yard from their front yard, and all of a sudden, I was aware that a flying insect was flying past me.
As I turned, I saw a very large butterfly (as I recall, mostly yellow with black parts) flying past . I was struck, for the moment, with a great sense of beauty and awe as I beheld its wings. They were like pieces of linen waving in the breeze.
It was truly magnificent.
It flew past me and flew over the gate on the other side of the house towards the front yard.
Our Lady promises signal graces to whoever prays the Rosary. What came to mind when I saw the butterfly was that this was a sign from my gaurdian angel that he is watching over me.
