all protestants unwittingly follow a Catholic priest

I don't follow Luther, I follow Christ. He has the preeminence before the world even began. His Lordship, His Priesthood, His Kingdom has precedence over all, including your Papacy.

if you followed Christ you would want to be in HIS Church
not Luther's
or the followers of Luther
of the followers of Luther's followers or the followers of the followers' followers... or...

You obviously didn't understand the point of what I said. I'll follow Christ, you can follow your Pope, we'll see where we end up. Don't coerce others into something they're not. You can suggest that all apart from the Catholic Church are under Luther's priesthood, but that doesn't make it so.

You obviously didn't understand the point of what I said. I'll follow Christ & His Church, you can follow your own mind, we'll see where we end up. Don't coerce others into something they're not. You can suggest that all apart from your ideas arein the wrong, but that doesn't make it so
anyone who says you don't have to stop sinning in order to get to Heaven... (not sur u say this)
is folowing Luther
anyone who says that the Catholic Church is mostly corrupt
that the Inquisition was all wrong... Indulgences are all wrong... etc
is following Luther, who first spoutated something 2 that effect
and i could go on
You don't need to categorize everyone under someone who hold similar opinions. I make my own conclusions on my faith based upon my relationship with God . Any direction is derived from this not from Luther. Any opinions formed that coincide with either Luther or the Catholic church does not place me under their headship, it merely means we carry some of the same convictions.
All I'm saying is don't call me a Lutheran because I agree with some of what he says. I'm a Christian, in the sense of it meaning, Christ is my source of influence, He is my Headship, He is who I follow as God, Lord,King and priest.
Don't generalize everyone it's prejudice. I don't judge a Catholic whether or not they are a believer by their association with a Church, I judge it by their walk with Christ.

The difference between Protestants and CAtholics (practicing ones)
is this:
We follow the Church Christ established, wherein is Christ Himself
Protestants follow Luther
and his distorted version of "church"
Hi , and we as Grace believers do not follow Luther .!!
We follow Paul , 1 Cor 11:1 says , " You become IMITATORS of me , just as I also am of Christ ".
And this was written way before Luther and just as you feel most protestants attack RCC , I am Amused that you always try to put the Protestants BEGINNING wlth some one like Luther and Darby .
We have our beginning with Paul and the Dispensation of the Mystery ,
On January 3, 1521, Pope Leo X issues the papal bull Decet Romanum Pontificem, which excommunicates Martin Luther from the Catholic Church.
Doesn't sound like a Catholic Priest to me.
Besides we don't follow Luther, we follow Christ!
He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.
