I have sent this message to Knight as I do not agree with his moderation. I post this so others, as I have met many, will know they are not alone.
"I notice how you've ignored me every time I've tried to talk with you. Which is fine, it's your choice. Just like the way you govern your board in a bias, childish, bigoted fashion. You put your beliefs on a pedestal and return realistic questions and statements with simple, mindless, rude responses. You support hatred and death threats towards homosexuals and other groups while giving infractions towards those who hate those you agree with. It's not Christian, it's not even morally correct, it's living in a dream world.
I have no need for a board where everyone is already saying all they will hear and the people who speak truth get ridiculed and banned. It is worthless and idiotic. I hope one day you will listen to ideas other than your own and keep company with others beside self-righteous, hate-filled demons. Feel free to ban me, I will not keep silent under your "Christian" threats.
I'm sure your board will prosper as many who agree with you will love a place where they can revel in hatred and bigotry.

I'd like to add to the posters, that I believe most of you wish the best to those whom you post to. However, please think about how you say what you say. Too many on this board only care about their own beliefs and are outright rude to anyone who disagrees. No one will listen to this kind of message. Especially if you are Christian, you need to be a light to this world; a shining example of Christ. You will not set this example as you cram the word down someone's throat with your biases. Many of you could spread your unique, thought-out beliefs much better if you presented them with a humble, loving spirit. I love actual debate about our Lord and the world, TOL has just become too much of a high school and a place where real conversation is rarely present. Thank you all for your time! You make this board!

No one disagrees with this statement when taken objectively. Your disagreement lies with the subjective object of your disagreement...TOL. Knight tolerates quite a bit of nonsense and disagreement, even heretical points of view. I suspect that part of that is because it provides entertainment value, and partly because it provides an opportunity for denouncement from iron sharpening iron.
When it comes to those that wear the label "Other" I personally have much less patience than does Knight, so on that note, I bid you adieu and wish you well in your journey towards seeking and finding the "truth".

You will find any forum is a fantasy land, in real life if you tried to "moderate" someone you can face physical harm or legal drama. Also outside of law enforcement there really is no "site owner" in real life so if there is 10 people standing around a fire and the majority disagree with someone and that someone is trying to assert some false sense of authority they will be shunned, if the property is private then the other 9 people will just find another place to gather.

It's pretty obvious to me anyway what Alwight is all about. He is truthophobic and he absolutely will not look at evidence which contradicts him. He does the easy thing and just labels others who disagree with him. He is a supporter of a class of people that is predominantly made up of pedophiles, who commit sex crimes against children and who are manipulating our legal system so they can be a protected class and not be prosecuted for their crimes against children.
This forum cannot be "nice" to those who protect the evil at the expense of our children for it is unfair to the children. Somebody has to speak out and protect them because Alwight and the likes of him will not.

The ignore feature is a useful tool. There are some people who add nothing to the conversation but hate and bitterness. Banish them from your computer screen and this site becomes a lot better.

Your speech isn't really hateful, but as for non-intelligent... it seems to me any time someone brings up a calm, rational point to you(see A4T's responses to you in the Abortion Profiteer thread), you run away. How intelligent is that? You should ignore yourself.

Wile E. Coyote is a prime example of someone here who makes bigoted and generalised claims about a group he personally objects to, either because he is homophobic, a Christian fundamentalist or both. Wlie has no evidence that homosexuals are predominantly paedophiles any more than straight people, but asserting such nonsense probably helps him to hide his bigotry, if only from himself.

That this forum tends to be rather biased towards such a pre-conclusion as gays are "evil" is clearly not in dispute imo. But the outside world and the evidence as a whole doesn't actually agree that gay people generally are any more likely to be a danger to kids than anyone else is.
