Your religion is worthless and is a denial of the "Historical Gospel" of Jesus Christ.
God in the person of Jesus Christ has ALREADY reconciled the world unto himself. We are ALREADY complete "IN CHRIST" Colossians 2:10
"To wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us (Christians) the word of reconciliation," 2 Corinthians 5:19.
This word of reconciliation is the Gospel. It is the "good news" that we have been crucified and resurrected with Christ, Romans 6:4, and now sit in heavenly places in Jesus Christ, Ephesians 2:6.
Religion is man's act of trying to do in his flesh (reconcile himself to God) what God has ALREADY done in Jesus Christ.
Paul screams at the imature, unbelieving Colossians..."Christ has ALREADY delivered us from the powers of darkness and has ALREADY translated us into the Kingdom of his dear Son. And you are complete IN HIM," Colossians 1:13. 2:10.
I am a little weary of those on this forum who think that if they follow the dictates of their religion they will be saved. Instead of being saved THEY ARE THE LOST. They have rejected God's great free gift of salvation that has been provided for them in Jesus Christ, and have adopted a religion that they think will save them, Ephesians 2:8.
Jesus Christ has ALREADY purged the sins of humanity and now sits victoriously at the right hand of God (a place of honor and respect) Hebrews 1:3, having overcome sin, death and the devil, Colossians 2:15. and having tasted death for everyone, Hebrews 2:9, He now extends an invitation to ALL, to be reconciled unto God, Colossians 1:21.
SAVE YOURSELF! Renounce your worthless do it yourself religion and trust in Christ alone. STOP! STOP! eating wafers and drinking grape juice, you are denying the Gospel and bringing condemnation on yourself when you do that, 2 Timothy 3:5. STOP! STOP! trying to reconcile yourself to God by your good works and obedience to the law. You are putting yourself under a curse when you do that, Galatians 3:10.

But things are being carried out by process. Yes, these processes already exist as completed acts, but they are on-going.
Birth is an on-going established process.
Death is an on-going established process.
Salvation is an on-going established process.
Yes, we are "saved" and in Christ, for when He is in us as the Holy Spirit, then we are established in Him.
BUT, while we are here on earth in our incomplete form ... then we are still in process. People must first be born of water (of the womb of woman) as a physical being ... then be filled with the Holy Spirit of salvation and Godly awareness of sin ... then die physically in order to be born again of the Spirit and finally released from the physical body.
One day in our future there will come a time when God will begin to end all processes here on earth and make things new. At that time people will be receiving their glorified bodies for their life forever forward.
Until all processes as we know them are completed and things are made new and humanity is glorified... then we are not yet perfect.

The water Jesus mentions here is not referring to our natural birth but to the washing of the water by the Word. The Gospel is preached, we repent and believe and are born again of the Spirit.
John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Ephesians 5:26
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
This "quickened" here speaks of our being born again.
Colossians 2:11-13
In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. This will happen when....
"When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall we also appear with him in glory." Colossians 3:4.
All that Christ accomplished in his life, death and resurrection will become ours. 1 Corinthians 15:52.

Do you think that you have to practice cannibalism like a Catholic to be saved?
John 6:53-58, are spiritual and are not to be taken literally. Jesus said so in John 6:63.
The sacraments are to be taken in rememberance of him, not to try and be like him.

The teachings of Jesus is the law elevated.
The reason that Jesus taught the law was to reveal the righteousness of God and the sinfulness of man.

Salvation is NOT an ongoing process.
Salvation is a one time event known as "The Christ Event" when Christ entered into heaven that was the completion of the salvation of the human race. We have been MADE complete in him, Colossians 2:10.
