You have to keep following Jesus to get the benefits.
Any who fall away are denied the benefits.

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

---Paul says thatWe have to be following Jesus to do this for us.
Rom 8:31 ¶ What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Once you have been crucified in Christ, how do you become uncrucified?
He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.
Here , I will give you guys a bit of a hand...........
Ro 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Ac 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

What point is it that you are trying to argue here? That we cannot sin and therefore cannot fall away because we live in Christ?
I see your point now, and I admit it is a valid one, but it it has some inferences that are not entirely on point. Do you believe that salvation is forced upon us, or something we choose?
Good Question , probably referring to this verse in Heb6:4-6.
Heb 6:4 For it is IMPOSSIBLE for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Heb 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
Heb 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance;
seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh,
and put him to an open shame.

It is probably referring for acceptance of Christ who died for us.
These people are probably too weak and also take God's Plan of Salvation lightly.
Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
1Ti 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them:
for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

You have to Continue in the Faith and bear fruit of the HS as you go through life.

We choose to accept or reject. Once you choose to accept, you are in Christ. What does John say about those who fall away?
1 John 2
18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.
