Proof texts are texts of which meaning can not be changed.

There are hundreds of such texts and they form a pattern on important matters.

All words of multiple meanings in not proof texts must be rendered according to the pattern set up in the proof texts on a specific matter.

Example of proof texts in the matter of God’s nature are Jn 17:3, Jn 20:17 and so on.

Example of not proof texts in the same matter are Jn 1:1-3, Jn 20:28.


Proof texting is formulating of views or opinions and providing texts to support them.

Christians developed thousands of contradicting views and opinions & managed to “prove” them by proof texting.

It is done by:

1. Rejecting the proof texts pattern on the matter,
2. Adding to God’s word of their own imaginations,
3. Rendering the multiple meaning words out of the texts/context/overall context set up by the proof texts pattern and making it suitable for the purpose.

Example of rejecting the proof texts pattern on God’s nature is rejecting hundreds of proof texts like Jn 4:23, Jn 6:44-45+65, Jn 10:34-36, (godrulz and Colossians among many) Jn 14:6+10, 17:3, Jn 20:28, Mt 6:9, 1Cor 8:6, Rom 1:7 (and opening of each epistle).

Example of adding to God’s word is adding the word Jesus to Jn 1:1-3, adding the three heavenly witnesses to 1Jn 5:7 and so on.

Rendering of multiple meaning words out of context is “he” instead of “it” in Jn 1:1-3, “God” instead of “King” in Jn 20:28 and so on. Besides, there is a range of texts whereby Jesus is supposed to create the world for himself in clear disregard of Isa 55:11, Ps 33:6+9, Heb 11:3 where the word rhema rendered as word never means Jesus.

There are no original scripts as far as I know.

There are many often differing copies of which some bear scars of those who were fabricating their "truth".
