Everyone knows how I hate neg reps.

I feel they are childish, and offer nothing to this board.
I am not starting this thread to argue that, for we all have our opionions on the use of neg reps, already, and likewise we are not likely to change, unless God helps us to.

The purpose for this, is merely to point out that if you neg rep me, it will be sent as a message to the post in question, for all to see.

I am only referring to the neg reps that I have received recently..

I, personally feel that this should automatically be the case, for nothing should be done in secret...anyways...but, my point being that I feel there are some on here that abuse the neg rep system, for no purpose, other than just to make 'some' stay in the red.

I know it is done to me daily, and if I could do it for all the neg reps I have ever received, it would be proven, but likewise I am not here to prove that, either. I just want everyone to know that if they choose to neg rep me it will be made public in the post you neg rep. Fair is fair, as they say.

Edit again to add: I was neg repped by Tambora, for this post,. and she said, "good grief".

I love freedom of speech, anyways. Even if it only gives me more neg reps for my own convictions. Thankfully,. I had some positive rep for the same post.....to each his/her own opinion.

Edit to add. I was also sent a neg rep from Nick M for this post. His statement said, "done and done".

Edit to add again another neg rep for this post from Angel4, who said this: "I thought you were all about love instead of hate - oh well, done and done"

If she had read the thread, she would know that I hate neg repping because of the very love that I do speak of, and this just proves how this system is misused...once again. Thankfully, I have some postive reps from members who understand that, for this very same post.

Interesting concept and execution.

I've always hated the idea of neg reps, mainly because most of what has been sent to me via neg rep should have been posted in the thread as part of the ongoing discussion.

Better to be called out for a perceived contradiction or fallacy in public than in some online equivalent of a dimly lit back room.

Especially when the neg rep is NOT given for one of the above reasons, but simply out of spite.

Give someone 'power' and they will use it...LOL, unless they have grown out of such things.

At least for me, they will be exposed in the post itself.

That way, perhaps, MAYBE they will at least think twice if they want to use the childish toy.
