Why Romney Won’t Release More Tax Returns -
August 3rd, 2012, 05:29 AM
My guess as to why Romney will not release any more tax returns other than 2010 and 2011 (coming soon).
Romney’s plan when he becomes POTUS is to reduce the tax rate of corporations and rich people. But the fact of the matter is that there are currently legal tax tricks already in place for corporations and the rich to take advantage of to reduce their rate. Releasing his tax returns for more years will remind people of that fact and hurt his “reduce the tax rate” plan. Releasing more of his tax returns might lead to an outcry to get rid of some of those “legal tax tricks” currently used by corporations and the rich. That would make Romney’s rich donors very upset with him.

Imagine which option for Romney would be more preferable
1) deceiving the masses into thinking that his “release no more tax returns” position is a principled and noble position
or
2) hurting his future plans to “reduce the tax rate” and getting his high end donors very upset with him
or how do we avoid getting deceived by option #3
How do we avoid being duped by the following scam?
Romney having his minions working feverishly to gin up 10 or so years of 'new & improved' tax returns for some future show-and-tell.
A. Without filing official amended returns with the IRS, or,
B. Filing amended returns along with the public release?
Solution - at this point the Fourth Estate ought to get Romney to file IRS Form 4506, Request for copy of tax return and have it mailed to a responsible third party.
I am glad that Romney is standing his ground against the media pressure to release his tax returns. Obama has certainly stood his ground against releasing all kinds of documents. I say good for Romney for keeping the focus on Obama. As long as he is keeping the law that is good enough.
I coudn't care less about his tax returns. Much like the left doesn't care about the crimes commited by the Kennedys. Nor their need to see the Kennedy tax returns. They can go along with the birth certificate as well as college transcripts and nationalization to Indonesia paperwork.
The media wants to find some little detail to argue about and keep the heat on Romney. To the average voter, who cares. Just more baogna from the liberals.

I never say that Romney broke the law - only that he probably used "legal tax tricks" to keep his taxes low and that he wants to keep those tricks off the radar of the masses for his sake and the sake of his rich friends.

Did Barry write these books or was it Bill Ayers? I like the fact, that Barry had to make up details about his life, fictitious composite sketches of girls he dated, lies about his grandfather being tortured by the Brits...Instead lets have Barry release his college transcripts, or his admissions paper work these things cannot be as easily doctored.
