...that I could cook a dinner with the power of the sun.

What has the internet taught you?

That the people in my life I considered "conservative" and "liberal" were extreme CENTRIST compared to people online.

That too many people are addicted to technology (especially Pinterest and Instagram. Ew.)
I didn't become aware of that in real life until after I became aware of it through the Internet.

That it's awesome to have your pastor take your side against creationism.
...probably would have realized that eventually, but it happened on Facebook first.

Your pastor doesnt believe in "creationism"? Does that mean he doesnt believe God created the world at all? Or just rejection of the Genesis account?

to the OP:

The internet has taught me there are a lot of rpg's I can buy and never play, and watching people do dumb things is really entertaining. (youtube)

The internet introduced me to play by post RPG. I don't like the RPG video games.

Rejection of the literal interpretation of Genesis 1 as a scientific explanation for the existence of the universe/life on this planet.

That people who claim to be the most tolerant are far from it.

That more people hate God and christians than I could imagine.

That what people think vs what they say in person and show in public is far different than what they really think.

Too much to list here:

How to make a really good rub.
Another recipe for curried goat.
Facts and figures about Mexico Beach, FL, Memphis, TN...
Highway routes from Maine as far South as Key West, From NY to Las Angeles...
The above for places in Central America...
Weather conditions for any area in which I am or am traveling to.
Nearby dining places, attractions, points of interest
Further developed my understanding of history, biology, math...
.
