What is more worthless than a dead fish head? - August 8th, 2012, 05:58 AM

I have been called many names at this site-

drug addict
liar
heretic
stupid
someone with a hidden agenda
etc.....

None of these bother me so much because I'm not the first one who was called many names also. But one thing that I have been called does irritate me-

Dead Beat

The reason they call glew a Dead Beat at TOL is because glew refuses to pay any money to TOL. You see it does not matter that glew goes to work every day. That glew always pays his taxes. That glew raised his children. What matters is that glew won't pay TOL.

What bothers glew is that glew's taxes goes to support our Country but the "tax free" entities don't pay taxes to support our Country. Instead the "tax free" entities have the gall to call the tax payers dead beats for not giving the "tax free" entities handouts.

Here it is in a "nut" shell-

glew is a dead beat for not paying TOL for using TOL's stuff
"tax free" entities are dead beats for not paying for using the U.S.A.'s stuff

I'll be glad to leave TOL property when the "tax free" entities leave U.S.A. property

glew's punishment for not paying TOL is that glew is not suppose to post more than 14 times. So then let the "tax free" entities skip 14 tax cycles then they need to get out.

To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic.

Those are opinions, and others are entitled to their opinions as long as they are not laced with profanity or implied profanity.

Yes, another opinion, it might be a fact and it might not, but still it's an opinion. Dead beat called be applied to a lot of things and reasons.

Here you have chosen yours...

So you do understand that paying for a TOL subscription is a choice. Be thankful you have a job to go to, you pay taxes as many other TOLer's do. A lot of other TOLer's have raised their children. glew won't pay TOL, that a choice, your choice.

Have's and have not's, those who pay and those who don't. Regardless in this world and society there will always be back scratcher's and under-the-tabler's, remember those who call others dead beats might be dead beats in something themselves.

If you've called a dead beat, maybe that's how others see it; however, you are a subscriber with a non-pay subscription, I don't think you've received a statement of debit with a demand to pay.

Stay or go, whether TOL or the USA.

When you glew signed up for TOL at the level you chose, you also chose to accept the limits that go with it, if you didn't take the time to read the terms and conditions of the level of sign up that you chose the should hove, that should be easily understood.

Most people will support what they believe.

Another thing, choosing and choices is like quality and oats, you know you get what you pay for, buyer beware, etc...
Quality is like buying oats ~
If you want good, fresh oats, you’ll have to pay a fair price. If, however, you’re satisfied with oats that have already passed through the horse, you may be able to save a little money.

Fish heads can be used to make broth which some people find very healing for a multitude of health problems. Personally, the thoughts disgusts me but fish heads actually have quite a bit of value for those who need them.

And I think you are allowed to post more than 14 times per day?

I believe that the Universe is one being, all its parts are different expressions of the same energy,
and they are all in communication with each other, therefore parts of one organic whole.
This whole is in all its parts so beautiful, and is felt by me to be so intensely in earnest, that I am compelled to love it and to think of it as divine

The big issue here with this thread is your whining. Instead of whining, perhaps leave or just button it.

By now my method should be familiar to you-

Question: Where does the Church get the idea that it does not have to pay?

When we first are introduced to Jesus and His family they, the Royal Family of Israel, was in turmoil over the paying of taxes. Jesus was born in Bethlehem because His family was there paying their taxes.

Later when Jesus was about His Father's work the Jerusalem temple leaders were out there trying to trap Jesus. They are the ones who turned Jesus in to the tax man. And what happened when the tax man confronted Jesus?

Now there was a group in Israel that was against paying taxes. The temple leaders did not want to pay. They felt that they should be exempt. And what do you think happened? The Romans forced their way into Jerusalem and made the temple leaders pay.

The Church does not get their idea of not paying from Jesus. The Church gets their idea of not paying from the Jerusalem temple.

And who better to relay the temple "tax exempt" idea to the Church then the "tax exempt apostle" Paul?

Paul did not pay taxes to Rome.

There are lots of whiners here. But whining AND referring to himself in the THIRD PERSON??? Is there a ban hammer BIG ENOUGH for that?

Open letter to President Obama:

Dear Mr. President,

It is no surprise that you have come to such a royal position for such a time as this. Our America the Beautiful is in trouble. The debt has been piled to heaven. But there is a plan in motion that will take care of all that. As you well know Mr. President, the nation has been saving great sums of money in a tax free store house. And now it is time to reach your hand in and take what is needed.

Do not fear what might or might not happen if such an act is carried out. You see Mr. President, the servant is no better than the master. We have taken their master's head. Now it is for you to reach in their master's mouth and take all the money that you need. I'm sure that it is more than enough to pay the debt.

After you have taken the gold coin from the fish's mouth then we will cast the fish into the river where the current will carry it away. Do not come here yourself as there is no dignity. Only the bones of dead men, bile and every sort of bitterness. This is a filthy place. We will take care of them. See, we are ready to lay down our lives to set right their wrong.

glew

In the panhandle of Florida, "Ol' Fish Heads" was the term for people who lived in the area which not so long ago was a bit like the boondocks. So it was just a Gulf Coast term for rednecks there at least. A lot of guys wore the term with pride. Some of em pretty tough guys, too.
I've seen some of em in various ages wrestle with a shark on a line while they stood waist high in the tide water that they had already poured chum into!
So they might want to whoop you for saying it means anything like "dead beat"!
