B57 has finally come right out and said that Eve had sex with the serpent and created a race of people that were "The seed of the Serpent." These people were created in the image of satan, they are the seed of the serpent.
This is one of the most bizarre doctrines that I have ever heard.
This means that God allowed satan to procreate a line of humanity that is the seed of the devil.
This is under "Calvinism Opposes the Gospel and is anti-Christ"

All the "serpents seed" is refers to the "original sin" that lives in all of mankind and how it got its start........ it is not a linage of Satan on earth, and for that matter all of mankind are of common descent that starts with Adam
When Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil they ate the fruit they ate the seeds of the knowledge of good and evil. When they ate from that tree they did so at the urging of Satan who was able to talk them into being disobedient to God and following after him instead of remaining in communion with God. This is how the serpent's seed (in connection with the curse from God to crawl on his belly eating dust that our bodies are made from) came to appear in all of mankind.
The serpent's seed a.k.a. the messenger of Satan that Paul spoke of living in his flesh maintains control over people through the law of sin that Paul said lived within his members (physical body,Ro. 7:23).
God has provided a way for all of mankind to overcome the serpent's seed in us by coming to the cross and receiving the seed that is Christ found in the blood of Jesus sprinkled upon our hearts.
With the addition of the Christ seed given life through the baptism of the Holy Spirit that operates through the law of faith, mankind has been given the ability to choose to live under a more powerful law that can overcome the laws of sin, if and when they learn to live their lives through faith.

A simple reading of Genesis crushes the doctrine. I'm amazed these doctrines even become, well, doctrines.
No, I think it is both bizarre and stupid.
These folks need someone in authority to tell them they are wrong when they come up with ideas like this. You would think Jesus would have put something in place to keep His church from wandering into error like this. Oh yeah He did. Some folks can't tolerate being told they are wrong though, so they refuse to follow that authority. Pride is a sin guys.

Our coming to Christ does not defeat satan.
Jesus Christ by his life, death and resurrection has destroyed the work of satan, Colossians 2:15.

Christians are called to live their lives in the light of the Gospel.
In the Gospel Jesus has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil, Colossians 2:15. He now sits in heaven as our intercessor and mediator. We are not called to trust in what we do or think.
Even though we know that satan has been destroyed he is still here on the earth and he is alive and well. But we know his days are numbered. When he comes to tempt us we are to renounce him and remind him that he has been defeated by our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. In this way we have power over him.
Please consider the numbers in our Bible, such as verse numbers, as being additions simply for reference, so I have left out '2' in the scripture below:
Genesis 4:1-2 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. And she again bare his brother Abel...
Will someone please explain the mysteriously missing "Adam knew" between the conception of Cain and Abel? Then, are you suggesting they were twins? Since Adam only 'knew' Eve once, then which conception, Cain's or Abel's, was the result of Adam's 'knowing' Eve? Will someone also explain how Cain and Abel were not twins? No 'hem-hawing' around here, twins or explain otherwise.
After the passing of some time in the rearing of these boys, enough to know Cain was a 'problem child,' Eve had some rather defining thoughts on the matter. Let's ask the now repentent (illuminated) Eve which 'knew' resulted in the conception of whom after she and Adam got to 'know' each other a little better a little later:
Genesis 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
Well, now we have three boys, and only two 'knew's.' Eve clearly stated that Seth was her second appointed seed by Almighty God. Therefore, unless you propose Abel was immaculately conceived, unlike Seth, please explain where the 'knew' is that resulted in the conception of Cain. If God appointed Abel and Seth, who appointed Cain?
Let's keep in mind that Eve was "beguiled" (Strong's #5377), and I propose Eve was not fully 'illuminated,' as every Godly parent, until Cain killed Abel, after which Seth was conceived. Where's the 'knew' between Cain and Abel? How do you reconcile Cain's conception? How you scripturally document that Cain and Abel were not twins? Please explain:

Hoping to circumvent the rather elementary 'cross-species procreation impossibility' argument: Jesus referred to the scribes and Pharisees as "serpents," and "generation of vipers..." in Matthew 23:33. We accept the Son's figurative speech, but not the Father's?
At the risk of throwing the whole snake on the barbie, and inspiring countenances to fall even further than what I read in prior posts on this thread... I trust there's enough on the table for a little further kind table conversation from those here vastly more Biblically literate than I.
