Ryan plans to cut taxes
For all you who love paying taxes, and love to see government grow bigger and bigger at your expense, so big it can’t (we can’t) begin to pay its debts, who love irresponsible spending, and the idea of taking from hard-working Peter to support I-Am-Too-Good-To-Take-Just-Any-Job Paul, this post is not for you.
My comments are in brackets
Brian Fraga writes for the Our Sunday Visitor newsletter:
The Ryan plan would… repeal the Affordable Care Act… [Obamacare]
[Gee, that would be enough to get my vote right there!!]
[Ryan would] cut the individual income tax brackets from six [brackets] to two—10 percent and 25 percent—and cut the corporate tax rate to 25 percent.
[Frankly, I think this doesn’t go far enough… but Hey, anything’s better (in this case, WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!) than Mr. I-Can’t-Do-Math-and-I'm-A-Commie-Anyhow Obambi…
I think the corporate tax rate should be cut to something like 15%… so as to create JOBS—and maybe US companies would not all pack up and leave for greener pastures overseas, as they now do because the USA has become the enemy of business]
Ryan’s budget would cut 3.3 trillion in non-defense spending—such as Medicaid, food stamps, public housing, Pell Grants and Job training…
[I know people who are dependent on the government. I KNOW they get enough food stamps to… well, it is obvious they get enough to eat because a lot of these people are OVERWEIGHT, some are OBESE!
The government is NOT helping the poor… They are helping turn them into self-pitying, lazy, unhealthy, dependent, unhappy people with low self esteem…
As to Medicaid: If a person knows he is covered medically for virtually whatever ails him, he will go to a doctor more often than he needs to. That is human nature.
Some people seem to “need” someone to take care of them. I know someone who seems to be like this. He is at some doctor’s office or other virtually every other day for one physical or mental problem or another…. It is only human nature to take what is “freely” (for him anyway) given.
I fail to see why hard-working Americans should be forced to pay for this kind of thing. It is totally WASTEFUL and unjust, not only to taxpayers and society in general, but to the ones who are supposedly “helped.”
And since about 51 million young people do not exist who SHOULD have been allowed to continue existing, but were not (abortion)… and since people who were allowed to be born since they existed before the Supreme Court said they did not have the right to exist and probably shouldn't exist, people are living longer and longer, so we have about 3 young people working for every one older and/or government-dependent person. This is outrageous. When Social Security first began, the ratio was about 40-1
(… not to mention that the aforementioned guy who is at some medical facility all the time is probably being used-by same-as a guinea pig…)]

I didn't know that Romney switched places with Ryan on the ticket.

Romney hasn't even been elected and taken office and you're ready to kill him off so Ryan can implement his tax plan.

why not answer THIS:

when are you going to get a REAL question/comment????
ummm...
helllloooooooooooooooo
I have no comment because I have no problem with the content of your op. The problem is that Ryan is not running for President and whatever good he would do is not relevant.
You're really a piece of work tsf. God love ya!

The chief reason we are losing jobs to China and India isn't the corporate tax rate - it's because workers there earn a fraction of what a US worker does.
The idea that people on welfare have reached the epitome of existence and therefore have no motivation to improve their life is so removed from reality as to be laughable.
The idea that going to the doctor is such a fun ordeal that people would go all the time with no need if only it were cheaper is also crazy.
-------------------------------
Our deficit is the single biggest issue the new government must tackle. Not unemployment (which is a worse problem, but one the government doesn't really have much control over), and certainly not foreign military adventures.
As much as I would personally love to have less of my money going to the government, any plan that begins with tax cuts is wrong. We must increase revenue, not shrink it.
And neither party is willing to talk about the 700 billion dollar a year elephant in the room - our military expenditures are the same as the rest of the world COMBINED. There is no way to justify this, certainly not when we need to mortgage our future to maintain our well oiled war machine.
"What if the Hokie Pokie is really what it's all about?"
ALL bills regarding government funding MUST, by law, originate in the House of Representatives. So while presidents may ask for tax cuts or tax increases, it doesn't happen until the House introduces the bill and debates it. Sends it to the Senate where they debate it. Send it to a committee to reconcile the House and Senate versions. When the House and Senate finally agree the final bill is sent to the President for his signature.
Galatians 5:22-23 (New International Version)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

So far the only self-pitying, unjhappy person with low self-esteem responding on this thread seems to be you. When my taxes (and I very likely pay a higher rate than you) are used to care for the poor, children and elderly, or to share in covering the healthcare of us all, I have no complaint. The only real wasteful spending that local, state and the federal government indulge in is the trillions taken from taxpayers to subsidize multi-billion-dollar corporations. And yes, that includes the military-industrial complex. All of you whiners who buy into these phony tax cut promises want to do so at the expense of the weakest of society. Yet for some reason you seem to have no problem having your taxes taken to pad the pockets of corporate billionaires. What is really foolish is how you believe those corporate subsidies are compatible with a free market. In a free market they would have to make it on their own without the help from taxpayers. Just how have so many of you lost all sense of reason. I guess that it's marketing.
