    On the omniscience of God

It might imply it, but it might not. The original call for the death penalty made no mention of it, and the sanctuary cities suggest that it wasn't always adjudicated. In other words, if the perpetrator has to "flee" to the sanctuary city, that suggests the punishment wasn't going to wait for...

    Occasional-ism “a non-Deistic understanding of the World”

Let's go back to Jesus' wording: Matthew 18:9 KJV — And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. If "life" is contrasted with "hell fire", then it seems to be...

    On the omniscience of God

The point was that God's telling the prophets what He is going to do may not apply to every instance of what He's going to do.

    On the omniscience of God

Really? God told His prophets that He was going to create the world?

    On the omniscience of God

True True I would be very cautious using that approach. Witches and non-witches were both executed under such pretenses in this country. If we don't do due diligence in our investigation, we could still say, "God, this guy is guilty of things we cannot begin to grasp the ramifications of." In...

    a shot in the dark

Could be. I haven't done the water-based experiments. Maybe you should try it and see what happens. Let me know how it goes.

Did Christ’s Death at Calvary Make Everyone Alive Spiritually, or Only Those Who Believe?

So they were able to earn their salvation?

Oh No Not Another Apocalypse Thread By Chrysostom

Like calling people "stupid" when they disagree you? That's "actual debate"?

Oh No Not Another Apocalypse Thread By Chrysostom

What is the consequence of the assertion, assuming it is true?

Did Christ’s Death at Calvary Make Everyone Alive Spiritually, or Only Those Who Believe?

If you think that's unjust, then you also have a problem with @Clete, since he is saying above that the peoblem you have just stayed needed to be resolved by Christ on the cross. These concepts do not have to be mutually exclusive. (another way of saying "false dichotomy")

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

But the point is that whoever wrote Hebrews, he was influenced by Paul. Luke, especially, was with Paul regularly. And if Paul influenced Luke, one of the ways he must have done so is by telling him his gospel. It is extremely unlikely that Luke, hearing the gospel from Paul, would reject it in...

Did Christ’s Death at Calvary Make Everyone Alive Spiritually, or Only Those Who Believe?

So you agree that it wasn't available to Jews (or anybody else for that matter) before Paul. And before that, was everybody still required to do something they were unable to do to be saved?

Did Christ’s Death at Calvary Make Everyone Alive Spiritually, or Only Those Who Believe?

But the fact that provision needed to be made for everyone is indicative of the situation before Christ--that the offspring of Adam NEEDED some kind of salvation just because Adam sinned. And we find tge wording if Ezekiel 18 allows for such, in that God says "No longer will the oroverb be...

    a shot in the dark

Im pretty sure Answers in Genesis started out with something more like what you describe for their ark models, but they likely tested them and found a need to put a proper prow and stern on it to keep it more stable. The Ark Encounter in Kentucky features a number of suppositions about...
