So Loved in Jn 3:16 !

Those so Loved in Jn 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

A World of sinners Rom 5:8

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Yet they could not be any outside of His Eternal Love in and through Christ Jesus their Mediator and His Son Rom 8:39

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In the original it reads:

οὔτε ὕψωμα οὔτε βάθος οὔτε τις κτίσις ἑτέρα δυνήσεται ἡμᾶς χωρίσαι ἀπὸ τῆς ἀγάπης τοῦ θεοῦ τῆς ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ ἡμῶν

Emphasis on the greek definite article describing the Love of God, denoting God's One and Only being that which is through the Mediation of Christ.

For an Holy God could not have Loved sinners just for the sake of them being evil sinners in themselves, for in such a case they are unholy rejected reprobates, and objects of His hatered, hence Rom 9:13

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

And of course Ps 5:5

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

These are sinners outside of Christ Jesus the Mediator where Gods Love centers Rom 8:37, sinners that Jesus never knew Matt 7:23

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Now understand, in order to have been objects of God's Love in Christ Jesus, in some real sense we had to be united to Him, which comes from being Chosen in Him in Love Eph 1:4

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

The same so loved of Jn 3:16 !

Now sinners outside of Christ, those He will say to " I never knew you" Matt 7:23, therefore God could not have Loved, but did hate as esau and the workers of iniquity, God hated them from before the foundation, even from everlasting, just as He Loved the Elect, He chose in Christ, from before the foundation, and from everlasting Jn 17:23-24 ; Jer 31:3

And unto them the hated, He had predetermined not to have mercy on them [salvation mercy] in reference to Eternal Life Jude 1:21

21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Hence they never had part of being of those whhich are called Vessels of Mercy Rom 9:23

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

And this by Eternal Divine predetermination to be exempt from His Love and Mercy found only in Election in Christ !

TY Brother, and Amen, to another God Glorifying Teaching in His Word Heb. 4:12 !

Gods Love for a people is a trademark of His Election of them to be a separate special people for Himself, above all other people He didnt choose for Himself. This is seen by what God says of Israel of old Deut 7:6-8

6 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

7 The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

8 But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

Gods Love is the particular characteristic for them He has Chosen, Chosen in Christ Eph 1:4

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

So the World God Loves in Jn 3:16 are the people whom He set His Love upon that He has chosen for Himself [denoting a special people above all others] in Christ before the foundation of the world.

Gods Love for a people also manifests His Sovereignty over the objects of His Love, like stated in Rom 9:13

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Again Mal 1:1-3

The burden of the word of the Lord to Israel by Malachi.

2 I have loved you, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the Lord: yet I loved Jacob,

3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Gods Love for a people distinguishes them from people He hates, whom He does not Love, so His Love is Sovereign and discriminate.

Exactly Brother !

It was the men of the World of God's Chosen Ones Deut. 7:6-8; Eph. 1:4., those the Lord Redeemed; God's Elect In Christ from the foundation who were made holy and without blame; and the only World He Loved John 3:16; His Children exclusively given Him of the Father, whether jew or gentile.

In contrast though, there are others which constitute a world whom God does not love, but hates, typical of Esau, whose father is the devil.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Reprobates Titus 1:16

Seed of the Wicked Ps. 37:28: Matt. 13:38

Ungodly men 2 Pet. 3:7

Gods love for a people results in that people living [spiritually] through Christ, that was Gods Purpose 1 Jn 4:9

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Gods Love will produce Spiritual Life for the Loved ones, so if one never comes into spiritual life, God could not haved them and sent His Son into the world for them.

All whom remain in spiritual death, enter into eternal death, were never loved by God !

Gods Love for a person/people is the grounds for Him drawing them to Himself Jer 31:3

3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Gods Love is accompanied with His doing, and His Love is always with return, they whom He loves will love Him 1 Jn 4:19

We love him, because he first loved us. The word because is causative, Gods Love produces the result of the Loved loving the Lover.

Amen Brother, God's Everlasting or Eternal Love is not for all men in the world without exception, but for the Body of Christ, or His Church;
those the Father had Chosen and Loved, He Elected in His Son before the foundation Eph. 1:4, to be holy and without blame before Him in Love: And they whom He Loves will Love Him: He Draws to Himself Jer. 31:3.

John 17:23-24

23 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me:
for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

Hence the Ones God Loves, He Draws and Saves them by His Grace Eph. 2:5 !

Those whom God the Father Loved, He gave them to His Son, which secures their believing in Him Jn 6:37

37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

This is ONLY speaking about the twelve disciples, whom Jesus chose. And remember, one of those "chosen elect" betrayed Jesus, and is currently in Hell.

God's Everlasting or Eternal Love is not for all men in the world without exception,

Because you say so?

but for the Body of Christ, or His Church;

Does God love the whole world or not?

Because John 3:16 was true BEFORE Augustine and John Calvin came around.

those the Father had Chosen and Loved,

Was Israel, the nation. Not individuals.

He Elected in His Son before the foundation Eph. 1:4,

You're misreading the verse, either intentionally or not.

The verse says:

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, - Ephesians 1:4 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ephesians1:4&version=NKJV

Notice the "in Him" part.

Who did God choose?

Those that are "in Him."

NOT

Those that are NOT "in Him."

How does one get "in Him"?

By believing.

How does one believe?

By hearing.

How does one hear?

By a preacher preaching, after having been sent.

The verse is NOT saying that God randomly picked people for salvation before the foundation of the world. He decided that the group that is "in Him" will be chosen, and that the group that is NOT "in Him" will not be chosen.

to be holy and without blame before Him in Love: And they whom He Loves will Love Him:

Your confirmation bias is showing.

Again, those who are "in Him," through faith in Him, will love God, because He saved them.

He Draws to Himself Jer. 31:3.

Jeremiah 31:3 is about Israel. Not the Body of Christ.

Did you not notice that it was Jesus speaking there?

Of course the Father loved the Son before the foundation of the world.

But that has nothing to do with whether an individual OTHER THAN JESUS was chosen before the foundation of the world, which cannot be found anywhere in scripture, and certainly not describing one's salvation.

Hence the Ones God Loves, He Draws

Speaking only of Israel.

and Saves them by His Grace Eph. 2:5 !

All those who are "in Him" are saved by His grace.

How does one get "in Him"?

Supra.

Correct. It says "the world."

There is only one "the world."

What does it not say?

It does NOT say:

The whole World of His Elect!

Would you please acknowledge that you gave the wrong answer when I asked the question, "Does God love the whole world or not?" by answering "The whole World of His Elect!"?

Amazingly, Calvinist seem not to understand that “ whosoever believes” will be saved.
