Does persevering in the faith by libertarian free will, enduring unto the end, cooperating with God, & obeying Christ - as opposed to thrusting away one's faith & becoming lost - imply earning salvation by works? Yes or no?

"A person "believes" the gospel in order to be saved and believing something is not based on a person's "will." It is impossible to believe that five plus five equals anything but ten. No matter how hard you try to "will" yourself to believe that they equal nine you will find that it is impossible.

That is because what a person believes is based on "evidence" available to him. And that is how Biblical faith is defined:

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Heb.11:1).​

Once a person believes the gospel he possesses eternal life in the Son (1 Jn.5:11) and the Lord Jesus said that those to whom He gives eternal life will never perish (Jn.10:28).

My post said nothing about believing:

If there is libertarian free will that you must exercise in order to become saved & maintain salvation, how is that not earning salvation?

If you don't believe in libertarian free will (LFW), are you a Calvinist or a believer that human beings are mere puppets God controls by His will alone? Do you think God forces salvation on people without their LFW consent?
