For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

There is no change. This is an appeal to Jewish believers to endure in the work of the Gospel and face the risks that meant in that century and during the war. It's a very steep warning!

As you can see there is nothing about partially keeping the law; these are all Christian issues.

:chuckle:

Were they partakers of Christ yet?
And, why weren't they resting?

So, not only can our salvation be lost, once it is we are lost forever? No hope for redemption?

Hi and it OBVIOUS that Israel has been given RED LIGHT that Repentance will never be allowed as written in Heb 6:1 !!

And verse 2 says that Water Baptism also is OUT !!

Hebrews 6:1&2

6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

If you use that logic or lack of logic then there is no resurrection of the dead nor will there be eternal judgement.

Hi and Heb 6:1 says by a verb LEAVING , and in STRONG'S G863 means ot FORSAKE , TO SEND AWAY , TO EXPIIRE and many more than that BUT to FORSAKE the Doctrine or TEACHING of Christ and verse 2 it also means to FORSAKE BAPTISMS !!

It is hard for BAPTIST to acknowledge as some believe that John the BAPTIST start the BAPTIST CHURCH , and how funny is that !!

Your claim that the RESURRECTION is lost to us is HILARIOUS because Paul says if we do not have RESURRECTION We are men most MISERABLE , so stay with something you really KNOW !!

Whomever asserts Romans 11's "cut off" is about loss of salvation :chuckle:

The same chapter's "able to graft them back in again" shows otherwise.

Those of the tree of the old covenant were all cut off, even Christ Himself was.

The grafting into again, is reference to a new tree which began with the resurrection of Christ.

In both cases the roots of both trees remained the same.
