I believe that God is the creator of the universe and it is therefore appropriate to praise Him in all circumstances. Bad things do happen as a result of a fallen world. That is no reason not to praise him. I do give thanks for my doctors for their God given intellect and their hard work and study that makes them excellent at what they do.
