ISAIAH 54:11-55:5

The Prophet Isaiah speaks as directed by the Holy Spirit, as a father who comforts his children, promising them blessings, but begins with “Unhappy, storm-tossed one”, meaning that Israel has been through a lot, deportation to Babylon, destruction of the temple, scattered throughout the nations of the world…YET…blessings, protection, etc. will follow for THE SERVANTS OF THE LORD. Yes, for THOSE who SERVE the LORD. Yes, we have to be on HIS side, part of HIS FAMILY, and walk in OBEDIENCE.

” Come, all who are thirsty, come for water….” (Chap 55) Yeshua mentions LIVING WATER (himself) on Hoshanah Raba (the eighth day of Sukkot) and also, to the woman of Samaria, this water is available to US ALL, if we just choose to drink of his WORD. The Hebrew word "Mayim" = water. It is always written in the plural form.

The Hebrew word for "Heavens" is "HaShamayim"; the word "mayim" is in it. The waters were divided when God created the world. Some waters stayed on the Earth to form the oceans, rivers, and lakes, and the other "waters" were lifted up and extended above the Earth to form the "vapor canopy." This protected the pre-flood world from the harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun.

We need the liquid water to live, and also the Spiritual water to live spiritually. We can't live long without water, yet many are dying of spiritual thirst, yet they don't know it. So drink from the fountain of life. It is cool and refreshing, just what our souls need.

JOHN 9:1-10:42

This is the story of the healing of the blind man. Yeshua spat in the dust and made him “new eyes!” What a miracle, and why not? Are we not made from the dust of the earth (Adamah)? So Yeshua takes of the same dust, adds his own spittle (a form of water) and now, the blind man washes in the “Pool of Siloam” (which means “sent”) So, we see this; a man who has a defect (blindness) meets Yeshua (The Living God) who made man from the dust of the earth, puts dust on the blind man’s eyes, add a bit of water, then “sends” the man to wash in the pool that means “Sent” and then, he sees!

Many are blind spiritually; they cannot or don’t want, or will not “see” the truth. They see it, yet they don’t. The Bible is TRUTH yet many just see a book with stories in it, yet when the Holy Spirit opens the eyes of the spiritually blind, then, they can now SEE! The difference between the “clean” and the “unclean”, the “worldly” and “Holy”, “obedience” and “disobedience” before they were blind, and now they can see. We were all blind, yet now, we can see! Baruch HaShem!

Shalom

Hello BenAvraham: I realized your use of the healing of a blind man was an example of the spiritual blindness of people and I so agree there is such a thing, but I would like to compare your NT healing miracle with the OT events in Genesis 1 and 2. I find the similarities fascinating and eye opening to God as he works on our behalf.

Considering figurative language: Throughout the Old and New Testaments Bible students gradually learn how water symbolically stands for spiritual life. IOW, God who is Spirit and is life is able to give life unto created things and beings from Himself. I also began to realize that words like ground and dust used in Genesis 2 had to do with the elements God used to create things within our world and universe. Ground being those elements to which God would allow a measure of life be imparted while dust meant those elements without life.

I learned this concept from studying who Jesus was as the Christ. John 3:34-36 mentions how God gave unto the Christ of His Spirit without measure. IOW, He gave all things unto the Christ even life without measure. I like to say things this way: He associated all things with the Christ so that our Lord had access to all things while not being like God inside a finite fleshly box. The box was not God, but it was like a living tabernacle where God could appear and work among men as Emmanuel.

Jesus, had the measures of life needed so that he could pick up his body again and arise from the dead and ascend unto the Father. This tells me Jesus had access to measures of life not afforded unto humanity. He told the woman at the well of this additional measure of water/life he had to give her from which she would never thirst/never die. True we mortals need our H2O to refresh our life on Earth continually ... but he had another measure to give her where she would never die.

Now, back to the works of God in Genesis concerning male and female: I see where God gave at least two measures of life unto mankind. One in Gen. 1 and the other in Gen. 2.

Life # 1, Gen. 1: God created mankind-male and female. I believe, as spiritual created beings, they had a measure of life already within God who is life ... and it was an on-going sort of gift of life for as long as they would choose to obey God as their Father LORD. But they were not yet manifested within the physical creation in a physical body!

Life # 2 Genesis 2: The LORD began his works on the 7th Day by using the elements called ground to form them a body. Even before the formation of man's body he added a mist/a measure of water from himself to the ground/elements of creation! That detail describes how God added a small measure of life to Mankind's body. Making it ready to be like a living tabernacle/house and used for the manifestation of male and female into this world. A measure of spiritual life + a measure of bodily life joined produced a LIVING SOUL. Every part of that body was alive and functioning and the spiritual essence of humankind was associated with it.

Well, Jesus, the Son of God, demonstrated to those around him how he was God the creator. In fact he told everyone these things: When you have seen me you have seen God The Father LORD Moses mentioned in Gen. 2:4. I and the Father are ONE.

When Jesus took the elements of creation called ground in Gen. 2 and added a mist/measure of water from himself/as God and personally formed living functioning eyeballs for a man who had had none since birth, then the religious leaders of his day should have recognized that Jesus was God and Creator of Gen. 1 and 2! ... who had come as Emmanuel bearing a body of lesser glory - called human flesh.

There is one God and Isaiah 43:11 tells us how our one God works as three individuals for the sake of mankind. I (God), even I, AM The LORD (who appeared personally to work); beside ME (as God the Spirit and God The LORD Father appearing) there is no Savior.

And remember God cursed the dust of the ground ... which is delivering death unto humanity while we speak.

I hope you found something interesting in this.
