One of the main historical incidents of reading the Constitution in context is the ORIGINAL TEA PARTY of Boston in 1773.

The colonists carried out a successful nonviolent protest against the East India Tea Company which was in fact a true global corporation in that period.

We have an anti-corporate strand in our national DNA and the colonies rose up against the economic tyranny of the "tea monster." They found themselves unable to sell their own tea in their own teashops.

One more example of how big business strangles the small businessman.
