Where else do you hear catastrophism? I live near nps.gov/olym. It's everywhere you look in the geologic record here. You just have to practice looking at ridges/rocks and recognizing what features they have after 10,000 years rather than millions.

I thought Genesis said the earth was about 6000 years old. Are you suggesting the Bible is not accurate?
