Newsflash, there are such things as monogamous homosexual couples...

That would not be sinful.
Just as two thieves or liars living together wouldn't be sinful.
It is the lies, the thefts, and any other unholy things that God despises.
If one doesn't give in to temptation, there can be so sin.

Attraction is simply temptation with an extra "A".
Both can be refused.
I think "attraction" is called "enticement" in James 1:14-15.
"But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

What a bizarre way to describe attraction. You ever been attracted to someone's character, generosity of spirit, altruism etc? Where's the temptation in that or do you simply reduce attraction to a physical/sexual level? It would seem so going by this.

In the context we were working with, it is indeed reduced to sexual pleasure.

Why would it be, if they were not doing anything sexual?
They are just room mates.
It would be sinful if they acted on the temptation to commit sin.
