Hey everyone!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a 22 year old Buddhist living in Atlanta, Georgia (where I was born). I'm also a recent graduate of the University of Alabama (roll tide), and I joined this forum for a couple of reasons.

A.) I love discussing different religions
B.) My father and I are looking for a new house, and we went into this one today that was occupied by a family that looked to be from the Far East (India, Bangladesh region), I also could smell curry when I was walking throughout the house, but my question is, in all the rooms, there was a picture of this white male dressed in colorful robes, with a big smile and an array of hats on. And I can't find any information about who this guy might be. Can anyone help me out? Thanks..

The family may have been Sikh. I think they have pictures of one of their Guru's hanging in their homes as part of their religious observance.
