Is the Oneness of God and soul a new concept? Not by any means. Not being in any way sophisticated, the original nerdy caveman who discovered that he had a soul may have suddenly felt tuned in to the Great Power in the Sky and, with his lowly IQ, would not have needed to divide that concept into confusing pieces. Lucky him.
