When you view your soul as a snapshot of God, and you see God as the Source of creation, destruction, and rebirth, you will easily see that when your temporary human body expires, your soul will be in the Oneness of God. No need for the Sunday School trappings of heaven, hell, pearly gates, golden streets and slippers, angels, or a Zeus make-over for a God. No need for a Holy Trinity, either, or for church acolytes acting as mouthpieces for God. Compared to simply rejoining the Oneness of God, these churchy fairy-tales become meaningless. Another essential change happens when you adopt the God-snaphot concept for your soul; you clearly see the falsehoods promoted by those who mistakingly humanize God. Be gentle with them "...for they know not what they do -- but they do it with such self-righteous zeal."
