Democrats seem totally ignorant of the relationship between high taxes, big spending, and inflation. Maybe they stupidly think inflation is not something they need to worry about. If so, they are incompetent to hold office. Inflation means poor people will pay higher costs for everything from fuel to food, and the economy will be slowed down due to strains on businesses.

Message to lawmakers: Don't spend trillions of dollars on global warming. Don't spend millions of dollars on abortion. Forget what lying leaders and officials claim about how insignificant inflation is. The real cost of voter-frauding democrats into absolute power is already being tragically felt on the streets and lanes of America where most lower-income people are trying to eke out livings. Democrat spending has caused a sharp rise in the cost of goods. Democrat shuttering of American gas and oil production has caused a steep rise in energy and gasoline costs. Democrat shutdowns of business and generous funding of worker idleness have caused a serious shortage of workers and damaged the ability of businesses to stay afloat. The figure represented the index’s highest increase since January 1991 when it surged at an annual rate of 4.5%, government data showed.

Minus energy and food prices, which are notoriously more volatile than other sectors, the PCE index increased at an annual rate of 3.6% in August, the Commerce Department reported. That is also the highest increase in more than 30 years.
