YES, Ted Cruz is right to say that if the R party chooses the same kind of candidate this time, we will likely lose.

I am not 100% convinced we will lose b/c... 3 words:

the last election

I want to say nuff said...

But you can never take these knds of things for granted.

Romney is good for the nation economically, but NOT in other ways...

The reason Romney lost is b/c this country is NOT in the mood for a Mormon president...

Mormons have secret "meetings" or whatever the heck they call them... and they talk about the outsiders, those who are not Mormon...

heck, where have we heard of that kind of thing b4??

in any case, no public office holding person should be part of a SECRET organization... that has an us against them mentality

Well, in the last election, the party nominated a milquetoast tax evader in magic underwear who was explicitly scornful of the poor in this country. Prior to that, it was a war hero who isn't afraid to stand up to his own party. If they want to win, they'll do more of the later, less of the former.

The GOP bigwigs held a secret meeting at a Washington, D.C. restaurant the night of Obama's acceptance speech in 2008.

Over steaks and drinks they all vowed to fight Obama at every turn.
And this was before any of them knew what Obama would be proposing.

If they could get someone with those characteristics who wasn't a crazed warmonger that wanted to keep us in Iraq "for a hundred years" that might have been something.
