What is the "Historical Gospel" of Jesus Christ?

Right Divider

Body part
The apostles did not know what the Gospel was until the day of Pentecost when it was revealed to them by the Holy Spirit, Acts, chapter 2.
That is completely incorrect!

Again I must ask WHICH GOSPEL?

THEY (the twelve apostles that will sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel) did NOT know the gospel of the grace of God until PAUL told them about it and that did NOT happen on the "day of Pentecost" (a lawfully required feast day for Israel).

Peter did NOT preach the cross as GOOD NEWS on the day of Pentecost... he preached it as a MURDER WEAPON.

So is it your claim that Mark 1:1 is not historical?

That looks pretty historical to me.

What is the name of this gospel and why do you feel the need to capitalize the word "gospel"?
I can always tell when someone has an incorrect agenda when they think that they need to capitalize "gospel".
There are many gospels in the Bible... do you capitalize them all?

Wonderful.
There is only one Gospel that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles them (us) unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.

Do you believe that you have been justified by Jesus?

Do you believe that Jesus has reconciled you unto God?

Peter preached that Jesus was the Christ, the savior of the world. It was part of the Gospel, but not the full Gospel. Those that heard and believed received the Holy Spirit, Acts 2:41.

Please answer my question before you go off on tangents.

Peter was preaching the gospel that Jesus Christ gave him. The gospel of the kingdom.

There is no Gospel that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles us and the world unto God 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19 in Matthew, Mark, Luke or John. Mark 1:1 simply says that Jesus is the beginning of the Gospel. Without Jesus there is no Gospel.

Jesus never gave his Gospel to Peter. He gave it to Paul, Galatians 1:11,12.

Is Mark 1:1 a "gospel" (it says "gospel of Jesus Christ")... Is it historical? (HINT: Yes is the correct answer to both questions).

Liar.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. - Matthew 28:19-20 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew28:19-20&version=NKJV

Calling people names is immature and unchristian.

Jesus commanded his apostles to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone, after they had received the Gospel and the Holy Spirit, Luke 24:49.

Matt 23:33 (AKJV/PCE)
(23:33) [Ye] serpents, [ye] generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Jesus commanded his apostles to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone, after they had received the Gospel and the Holy Spirit, Luke 24:49.
Jesus' commands were to TWELVE apostles that will sit on TWELVE thrones judging the TWELVE tribes of ISRAEL.

Jesus was not sending them to "neither Jew nor Greek".

1) So then you must also call Jesus (as RD pointed out above) "immature and unchristian."
2) I'm calling you a liar because you're lying about what the Bible says.

Jesus commanded his apostles to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone, after they had received the Gospel and the Holy Spirit, Luke 24:49.

You said:

Jesus never gave his Gospel to Peter.

Scripture says otherwise:

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. - Matthew 28:19-20 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew28:19-20&version=NKJV

And as RD pointed out:

Your story is conflicting with itself.

Paul was not there in Acts 2.

You are extremely confused Robert.

You are not Jesus Christ. Everyone is of infinite value to God, because Jesus shed his blood for all, therefore everyone should be respected, even the lost, because the lost can be saved.

The Jews rejected Jesus and the Gospel went to the Gentiles through Christ's chosen apostle Paul.

I never claimed to be... so why falsely accuse me? Not very "Christian" of you.

That must be why Christ called some people VIPERS.
The Jews rejected Jesus and the Gospel went to the Gentiles through Christ's chosen apostle Paul.
The Jews never heard the gospel of the grace of God until Paul told them MANY YEARS LATER. Same with Peter and the eleven.

Jesus never taught the Gospel that justifies ungodly sinners, Romans 4:5 and reconciles them unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19. He left that up to to the apostles. Paul received the Gospel that he taught directly from Jesus, Galatians 1:11, 12.
Jesus taught justification and salvation by faith, forgiveness by forgiving others, restoring a right relationship with God the Father who was already forgiving. Paul did his own thing, taught his own Gospel which he called "my Gospel". Paul put the new wine into the old wineskins which made since to him leaving one religion for another.

Paul did not do his own thing. Paul received his Gospel directly from Jesus, Galatians 1:11, 12.

Paul was led by the Holy Spirit during his 25 year ministry. He travel more than 10,000 miles by donkey, foot and ship to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the pagan world. Every where that Paul went the Judaizers were there to persecute him. Of all the apostles Paul was the greatest.
