That evil Elon Musk! How dare he love the first amendment!

Twitter Employees Forced to Sign Affidavit Swearing They Think Elon Musk Is Cool

SAN FRANCISCO (The Borowitz Report)—Under threat of imminent termination, Twitter employees are being required to sign an affidavit asserting that they think Elon Musk is cool.

The affidavit, which specifies that Musk is “a cool individual” and “extremely fun,” must be signed, notarized, and returned to Twitter headquarters by the end of business on Friday.

In addition to stating that the new Twitter boss is cool, the affidavit specifies several examples of “extremely cool things” that Musk has done.

For example, the document indicates that Musk’s arrival at Twitter headquarters while carrying a sink was “not only very cool but also super funny.”

Finally, the affidavit requires Twitter employees to agree with the statement “If I was having a barbecue and Elon Musk showed up uninvited, I would be totally psyched, owing to him being a cool guy whom everyone likes.”

You need human employees to deal with the flood of reported/flagged tweets, hate speech, porn, etc., and Twitter has ~450 million monthly users. Do the math. You seem unable to understand that.

Show us the math you've done, Greatest poser ever.

This isn't about the First Amendment. It's about making money. Free enterprise. Welcome to Business 101.

Musk is already sweating that massive drop in revenue:

In the days since Musk took over as Twitter’s owner and de-facto CEO, the platform has faced a surge of hateful rhetoric and other toxic content, which has caused outcry from civil society groups and prompted some advertisers to think twice about working on the platform.

In his Wednesday tweet thread, Musk said he had met with representatives of the Anti-Defamation League, the NAACP, Color of Change, the Asian American Foundation and several other groups to discuss “how Twitter will continue to combat hate & harassment & enforce its election integrity policies.”

On Tuesday, Twitter head of safety and integrity Yoel Roth said on the platform that the company has been “focused on addressing the surge in hateful conduct on Twitter. We’ve made measurable progress, removing more than 1500 accounts and reducing impressions on this content to nearly zero.” Both Musk and Roth have stressed that Twitter’s policies have not changed since the takeover.

Anyway, my tuppence worth on Musk and Twitter. He’s in for a rocky ride, and the question for me is whether his ego is going to make him destroy Twitter. Right now, what’s pretty clear is that he doesn’t understand what makes Twitter work. 1/10
There are three things he doesn’t seem to grasp. Firstly, he seems to think he’s bought a tech company (‘not enough coders, too many managers’) when what he’s really bought is a community of users.

According to that⬆️ commie idiot quoted by annabenedetti, Elon now owns this⬇️ commie idiot Twitter user:

To have bought something is to have become the owner of it. Twitter users are people. The party of slavery, the Democrats, are people who think of other people as property that can be owned by them, so it's not surprising to see these vicious commies speaking of Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter in terms of Elon Musk having bought the people who use Twitter.

there are many right-wingers on Twitter to this day

How many? What's the percentage?

What if Elon decides to use his own platform to announce to all Twitter users a declaration of which advertisers express an intention to try to financially hurt Twitter? You know, so that lots and lots of people will easily be made aware, loudly and clearly, of exactly which Nazi leftard-run companies they may want to soon consider withdrawing their patronage from?

Yeah right. We're all supposed to be gullible enough to believe the left has been freaking out ever since Musk announced his intention to buy Twitter because the left was sooo concerned about the financial health of Twitter and the freaking out had absolutely nothing to do with banned conservatives getting their influence back. Please.

What do you mean? Are you saying Elon has shot to death one or more persons?

State in a sentence, and without figurative language, what (if any) message is intended to be conveyed by this picture.
I'm intrigued by the fact that because he's an African-American he's portrayed as being black

I don't think you understood my point at all. At the end of the day, Musk's acquisition of Twitter is a very expensive business deal, meaning he needs to make money on this deal or it will end very badly for him. Making money is the name of the game, baby! What do you think he will do to make that money? Will he continue to pander to your political whims? I'd rather doubt it.

Making whose money? You, being the wealth-envying commie you are, keep talking wishfully about Elon standing to lose an immense amount of money from advertisers who threaten to cut ties with Twitter. So, the money you say he won't be getting from advertisers--whence do they get the money you say they, on account of their activism, won't be giving him?

Speaking of commies:

"Elon Musk’s $750 billion electric vehicle company Tesla continues to earn vast profits on the carbon credit market, despite halving its sales in the latest quarter."

Do you think carbon credits are a good thing, nimnoo?

Do you think trying to divert attention from the question I asked you by asking me an irrelevant question is going to hide your failure to have answered the question I asked you, mopplequink?

I'll answer yours only after you've answered mine.
