Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

What are you talking about? I just agreed with you ! A man, would be my assumption. What if you are wrong? Yeah, they both should have been "Original Apostles"...OAs. My keyboard is so old the letters have worn off, so I make an inordinate amount of spelling errors that the computer misses...

Females As Leaders/Pastors Of Males In Evangelical Churches.

Your "hypothetical" works for you, but it is void of any understanding of God's answer to prayer. I trust Him to keep me out of "flood" situations. And I pray with thanksgiving for His continuing protections everyday. Trust God, not guns.

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

He did, but Barnabas popped into my head first. I am glad He had mercy on several Gentiles too, not being afraid to break the "LAW". Proving it was, again, a fluid moratorium. If God told you "you are", you are. Care to be precise?

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

You are reading far too much into this. Where is it written that the twelve OAs were ONLY to reach out to the circumcised Israelites? If the 12 OSs went to Egypt, and I have read even as far as India, were they supposed to allow the Egyptian and Indian non-Jews to continue on in nonbelief and...

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

No question about it. Thankfully, God has provided more apostles since those early times.

Didn't you read my reply? How is getting a lift from them in any way supporting them?

Females As Leaders/Pastors Of Males In Evangelical Churches.

Why not? I wouldn't have to kill anybody or support those who do the killing in order to get a lift.

Why would I need to? God is my defender. Are you one of those who relies on nuclear deterrence instead of on God?

Has the Church Replaced Israel ?

The church/body of Christ is not the nation/Israel, but they are the believers in Christ/Israel. The unbelieving Jews have, in effect, cast themselves out of Israel. A good presage of this circumstance are the two sons of Isaac...Jacob and Esau. The church/body of Christ would be Jacob's...

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

Fortunately for us, there have been apostles beyond the original twelve. Barnabas comes to mind. (Acts 14:14) Even Jesus is called an apostle in Heb. 3:1. Who knows how many there have been over the last 2000 years. Praise be to God.

Too bad, eh? This country was, unfortunately, founded to make money.

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

Speaking about the ability to resist the devil that God has provided me isn't bragging. It is the glorification of God. Plus, it is available to all who will repent of sin and get water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their past sins. Praise be to God ! James...

Why don't you disapprove of what God disapproved?

Females As Leaders/Pastors Of Males In Evangelical Churches.

As a whole, any law without God's input is unjust. OT or NT? OT calls for reparation. NT calls for forgiveness. Nope. OK. OK. Are we still stoning witches? That OT law has passed away, being supplanted by NT "law"s of love and forgiveness. The crime is the same, but men's reactions to them...

If they are Christians, it will bother them to see anybody dismiss Paul's directives.

Only in the OT. If a biblically based courtroom exacted death for any crime now, it would show they were from a prior Covenant.

Females As Leaders/Pastors Of Males In Evangelical Churches.

Yes, but for different gods. I think they would also have the same punishments for theft, adultery, and murder. Of course those punishments are according to OT Laws, so the NT "laws" would forgive and have the perpetrator recompense the damaged. Thanks be to God.

We will probably never learn the entire truth of man's depravity.

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

It isn't "my" arm. And, my reactions to temptation glorify God. Isn't that what life is all about?

Except, the biblically oriented law would be of God.
