Reconciled to God while enemies !

Good point. God put the "key to escape" on the "table", but it is up to us to pick it up and use it.

    Is believing/faith a work ?

Faith changed me, that's for sure. But it was my own faith that God was real, and would either reward the just or punish the wicked, and I didn't want to be wicked anymore so decided to obey God from then on. He didn't decide for me. If He had decided to leave me in my wickedness, wouldn't He...

    Is believing/faith a work ?

Real faith will result in our salvation. Without it we are lost.

    Is believing/faith a work ?

And Paul called them the works of the Law. Is choosing to believe the gospel, a work of the Law?

Do you mind if we call you kjw47, or Bob, or Tom, or Mister Jones, or whatever your real name is? Why do you think that God cares how we lovingly address Him? YHWH, or King, or Lord, or Abba, or Father. Our prayers get to the right set of ears.

    Eternal suffering is not Literal

Who would want to serve a God like that? Everyone who is so in love with Him for providing the path away from eternal suffering.

Scriptures that show that Christs death saved a person while in unbelief !

It is written..."But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12-13) I am sure glad I received Him, so I could have...

All men are born to die, but until they commit a sin how can a righteous man assign sin to them? You are right about Jesus not being a part of any religion that came out of Rome. He came out of Nazareth, via Bethlehem.

Jesus lived without sin, so your OT citing is surely only true in its OT context. Though the Romans may have killed many believers in Christ, not all the Christians lived in Rome. The gates of hell cannot prevail over the Church by Christ Jesus. Don't credit the devilish with the impossible.

Not all the "followers" were murdered. Jesus' religion is alive and doing fine. And we still live without sin.

    That is right.

    Eternal suffering is not Literal

Agreed. To me that means an eternity in the lake of fire with the rebellious angels. Rev 20:15..."And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Rev 20:10..."And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast...

Right. OK, back to the OP. What do you say happens to the wicked upon their deaths? That is, on the day of judgement?

    Eternal suffering is not Literal

Yes, He has a God, His Father...and our Father, if we are "in" His Son: if we have been reborn of God's seed.
