The 'ultimate' shedding of blood took place on the cross of Calvary! Christ shed His blood for our sins! However, only those who place their faith in Him as their Savior, will benefit from His sacrifice, and resurrection!

God is the creator of ALL! He calls the shots! If He said the shedding of blood was necessary in the Old Testament, and necessary for Christ to shed His blood on the cross then, who are we to say, that's disgusting or unnecessary?

Notice the 'correlation ' between the sacrifices in the Old Testament, and the sacrifice of Christ on the cross in the New Testament?

Christ's going to the cross for the sins of mankind were required as well!

I don't really care! He hasn't a problem with blaspheming the Old and New Testaments by saying that God's demanding of blood sacrifices is possibly 'demon-inspired!' So, why would I care if FL gets angry?

Disregarding God's law of sacrifice in the Old Testament, and disregarding Christ's sacrifice in the New Testament, is to disregard the inspired written word of God (The Holy Bible!) It's not only disbelief but, will lead one to judgment, and eternal damnation!

Therein, lies the serious side of the discussion!

If one rejects the shed blood of Christ for one's sins then, they cannot enter into eternal life! One must place their faith in Christ, and His finished work on the cross, in order to receive God's forgiveness. mercy, and eternal life! There's no other way! That's it!

In truth you are very confused, and are caught somewhere between, the Scriptures, and the urantia non-sense! You've created in your mind, some form of "hybrid" that is neither of the truth, nor of a lie but, somewhere in the middle! However, more on the side of the urantia papers bunk!
