    Ukraine Crisis

I agree. Absolutely. The "sufferers" of Ukraine have the same opportunities to choose which road they will walk on as we do. I pray for them, but also know they have had months to get out of the situation their lust and/or fear has put them in.

Oops. Your right...I'll go back and get on the right train in a minute. OK...Jesus never said anything bad about the beggar Lazarus.

    Ukraine Crisis

Those hosting the fleeing Ukrainians must be joyously helping their neighbors, or they wouldn't be doing it. No one is paying them to offer solace. It is of their own free will to act charitably to those Ukrainians in need. I have been praying for them since well before this war.

Faith to believe on Christ !

They make the choice of whether or not to obey God. If heaven, salvation, righteousness, soberness, charity, subjection to God, turning from sin, or walking in the Spirit don't appeal to a man, he won't go to that which "drew" me. There is no salvation for those who do not submit to God. What...

Faith to believe on Christ !

If you were correct, the Spiritually walking Peter committed sins while in the Spirit. That doesn't happen. How can light bring forth darkness? It can't. I agree the natural man doesn't receive the things of God, but he can take what the Lord provided to allow us to walk Spiritually.

Beloved57 are you sure you’re chosen?

Without temptation, enticement, lust, and commission, there is no sin. (James 1:14-15) One manifests their "informed consent" when they offend their conscience.

I stand "technically" corrected. Are you a lawyer? However, had you used the 1 Cor 10:13 verse ("There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to...

    Ukraine Crisis

Sometimes bad things happen for a greater good. The sufferings Paul endured made him more resolute than ever. As for "didn't they have the right faith or something", I have no idea. I know that everyone dies because of their sin. Some will die twice.

Jesus posed Lazarus in a fiery environment, where there is no hope. His condemnation had already happened.

    Ukraine Crisis

All while joyfully displaying the characteristics of God fearing folks. As a Christian, I will obey the One who died for my sins, and He said to pray for our enemies and do them good.

He could have protected me without it. Where is your faith? In guns and bullets or in God almighty?

You failed to quote the 1 Cor 10:13 scripture from God that I used that "says so". Just those convinced that God is real, and that His scriptural words carry weight.

    Ukraine Crisis

Jesus' parables served a purpose, and getting out of the way of a Russian steam roller could actually be likened to Lazarus should have made better choices during his parabolic (?) life. Thanks for making me think about how good God is. Thanks !
