Here's the description we have of the first resurrection. It is precisely not a "mass" resurrection. The first resurrection refers to mass resurrection. All people die and stand in front of God.
Revelation 20:4-6 KJV — And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
It only includes those who will be priests of God.
Everybody else waits until the thousand years are completed, THEN they stand before God. If they already stood before God, why would they need to stand before God again?
Revelation 20:12 KJV — And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
This is "the rest of the dead" mentioned above in vs 4.
If the bible says it, then you should be able to show it to me pretty easily. Here's what Jesus said:I already posted it. After death is the judgment. This is what the Bible says.
John 5:28-29 KJV — Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
They "come forth" and are then judged and sentenced. It doesn't say they have already been judged and sentenced.
But you say they were already judged, standing before God. Why do it again? Has something changed? That makes your description a bit like purgatory, where they get time off for good behavior or time already served. Most go to "prison" some go to heaven. At the end all are resurrected (to a physical body) and is judged.
Yes, but not before they are resurrected, from what I see.Even those who have eternal life will give an account according to Paul.
