Karmelo Anthony was not called to testify and so was never cross-examined.
Closing statements to be made today with the jury sequestered to deliberate afterwards.
Possibility of a verdict before the end of the day but unlikely.

I hated serving up counter points to posts saying justice is served. Not yet it isn't. And likely will not be. He should be executed tomorrow, but we all know that isn't going to happen. Life in prison where the Metcalf family tax dollars have to pay to keep him alive isn't justice. But I'm glad the jury said walking up to someone and stabbing him in the heart isn't self defense.

I was thinking the other day about the constitutional guarantee to be judged by a jury of your peers.
"Your peers" means members of your community.
It doesn't mean Karmelo Anthony had a constitutional right to be judged by a jury of 17 year old black male murderers.
The idiots clamoring that there should have been middle-aged black women on the jury - in what way are they representative of his "peers"?
