Because for the longest time the tobacco companies were saying, 'well there's no link' and the medical community was backing them up on it. And there were doctors on TV commercials (back when that was still allowed) smoking cigarrettes and kind of advocating that it was healthy. So, the medical community, for whatever reason, didn't want to admit there was a link between smoking and lung cancer in the past and now they don't want to admit that there is a link between abortion and breast cancer."
Jo Scott: "Jason, the media used to be allowed to make a lot of money advertising for tobacco but that right was taken away from them so they had no trouble going after the tobacco companies. But the media is going to go where the money is also. It's very insidious."
