The FBI got another black eye last week when the New York Post ran a story headlined, “Hunter Biden’s link to disgraced ex-FBI official Charles McGonigal.”

Charles McGonigal, former chief of counterintelligence for the FBI’s New York field office, was indicted on two counts last week for: taking secret cash payments from a former Albanian intelligence officer, holding secret meetings with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, and trying to get top Kremlin oligarch Oleg Deripaska off a U.S. sanctions list.

Russia-gate.

Prosecutors allege that in late 2017, McGonigal took $225,000 in cash from the Albanians — even while working as the FBI’s counterintelligence chief in New York. Among his many extracurricular activities, McGonigal assisted an Albanian named Dorian Ducka, who worked with a Chinese agent named Ye Jianming, who gave Hunter Biden a gigantic diamond and a million-dollar legal retainer (because Hunter is just that good).

Curiously, emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop from 2017 repeatedly referred to a person named “Dorian” who “was a real help early on.” They were probably talking about McGonigal. So.

McGonigal left the FBI in September 2018 to spend more time with family, after one of his former mistresses snitched about bags of cash lying around McGonigal’s Brooklyn apartment. Those pesky bags of cash are always causing trouble. Not to mention ex-mistresses.

Bags of cash. Mistresses. Albanians. At times, one gets the sense that the FBI doesn’t exactly police organized crime, so much as the FBI -is- the organized crime.

Leftists deny Christians their freedom of religion rights, deny parents their right to protect their children from wicked indoctrination in schools, commit voter fraud and then lie about it, demonize American patriots and then jail them if they do not submit to leftist fascist mandates, and commit acts of sedition against the US when a republican is president. When the ungodly take cash under the table, sell secrets and influence to American enemies, bed down prostitutes in high-dollar hotels at government expense, and so forth, nobody should be surprised.

By Republicans not voting for budgetary funding, that is exactly what's happening.

Democrats in Congress have recently secured massive amounts of funding for state and local governments, over Republican objections, with a fair amount of that money specifically intended for local police departments that pandemic-strapped cities couldn’t afford.

. . . .
Republicans reacted... with ... I don’t quite know how to describe it. Outrage? Disbelief? They’re just incredulous that Democrats could consider their support for directing federal funds to local police departments — and Republican opposition to those efforts — relevant to the question of defunding the police. They aren’t claiming that the money didn’t actually go to the police; they just seem to consider “defunding the police” a sort of metaphysical position that has nothing to do with actual police-department budgets. Sure, symbolic politics can be important, but here symbolism is blocking out everything else.

All of this is, to be sure, related to the Republican Party’s difficulty in fashioning public policy. It’s also related to the Republican war on budgeting; having classified aid to state and local governments during the pandemic-induced recession as some sort of boondoggle intended to support Democratic politicians (even though the aid is flowing to states, counties and cities led by officials from both parties), they seem incapable of treating it as actual money that can pay for officer salaries and other such expenses, or indeed for any number of mundane things that governments do. In other words, funding they oppose is, by definition, waste.

"The president, with the backing of leading law enforcement groups, secured the money that his predecessor opposed — to keep cops on the beat — and every single Republican member of Congress voted against it," White House spokesman Andrew Bates said.

@annabenedetti, by Democrats wasting billions of dollars stolen from Americans by sending it overseas to your war hero, Zelenskyy, so he can keep fighting your pet war against Putin for you, that's exactly what's happening.

Plus, if you leftard hypocrites would all put your money where your mouth is, and up and move yourselves over to the Ukraine to risk your necks on the battlefield for your war hero, Zekenskyy, and never come back to America, by so doing you'd permanently nearly eliminate crime in America, which would result in drastically diminishing budgetary need for funding of policing.

Democrats in Congress have again proposed spending the US deeper into unsustainable tens of trillions of dollars in debt.
