One essential to a conservative, is that we don't countenance doing radical things or holding radical policies based on a newfangled ideology.
We don't believe men can think their way out of a paper bag, let alone usher in some new enlightened age.

For a conservative, radical things can only be done to preserve and protect conservative things, like our Constitution.

Frank Turek actually sucks at apologetics. Which is what they call their neutered trade. He stumbles at easy stuff including the departure of the church (rapture) because he refuses to divide the gospel. The son of the devil challenging him makes him look like a fool because he doesn't come right out and say Peter is a Jew and of the church Israel. And then just show it how we were excluded. And Israel fell, and now we are raised up to drive them to jealousy. He refuses to utilize Paul's scripture while affirming his teaching.
