The fact that 45% of Catholics are pro-choice is pretty ridiculous, being that they otherwise concede to the authority of the papacy which has always held to abortion being an abomination.

He's the vicar of Christ.. until one disagrees with something. Catholics are probably out there rallying against abortion simply to counter that trend.
